i got into a car accident 2 months later after my turbo was put on. and all the power was done on my stock k20a3 motor and i was running 15lbs of boost and would have occasional boost spikes up to 17-18. with no problems.

there's no need to build ur motor with the 11lb pulley. my friend has that pulley on his jrsc here locally in houston (K20A_S) and he's made 310whp on pump gas on stock motor...we got a awesome tuner here in houston named jason from St00pid fast. who also tuned our friend's RSX-S w/the GT35R turbo and made 520whp on stock motor and ran that for 6 months without no problem. he is currently working on a fully built k24/k20 w/GT45 turbo setup with a goal of achieving 1000whp.

i didn't hit the jackpot to obtain these. The hardest thing for me was saving up a downpayment and convincing my parents into helping me get a loan for the car and take over the payments.

Took my a good year to save up for all my turbo parts, but during winter break I worked for 2 straight month for over 40 hrs per week, which made up for most of the turbo fund.

i misss my rsx!

Since you used to be turbocharged, i can guarantee you will sell this JRSC sooner or later. Especially knowing how much the stock a2 block can handle

Is Jackson Racing still releasing the aftercooler? I heard Comptech scrapped all plans of releasing an aftercooler, sucks for the comptech SC owners, lol.

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

sucks that u got into that accident too. i know how it feels losing a car man. so i can totally relate. but its all good cuz u got a crazier setup now w/that big turbo u got.

yea man definetly missed my turbo setup...love the hks ssq bov and the torque the turbo made... even though i like my supercharger whine alot too. but definetly...i would prefer turbo over supercharger since now that i have owned both.

I think they are coming out with the aftercooler...but they have been saying that for a very long time now....so I guess we just gotta all wait to believe it.

Did you mean the K20A2? Cause a t/c K20A3 wont last long running 15lbs of boost.

no not the type s motor. the k20a3 with the shitty plastic intake manifold. and my tuner Jason aka st00pid tunes cars like no others. I ran 15lbs of boost with occasional boost spikes up to 17-18 for 2 months no problem....boosting it everytime i drive.

boost pressure is nothing.. you gotta look at power. if i remember correctly, he put down 290whp off a GT28RS turbo. Perfectly safe, even for the weaker k20a3 motor.

nice. i used to work at moss motors/jackson racing. almost used my moms rsx type s for a test vehicle for the supercharger. your car is clean, you just need to work on your suspension setup. have you dynoed this setup yet?

depending on how u drive and how the car is tuned

true dat....and i had over 90k on my motor before going turbo. so even the base k20a3 motor are not that bad. im sure my car would have broke 300whp...if there wasnt boost leak according to Jason. so dats y it was semi tuned. boost wasnt holding up all the way to 17-18lb.

GT28RS aka "disco potato" is small but spools extremely fast...my car hits full boost right before hitting 3,000 rpm. very nice turbo. this turbo setup was used on AEM project cars. I'm sure with the k20a2 (type s motor) the car would easily make over 330whp+

thank man for the comments.

im using 205/55R16-94V for the Azenis.

Toyo Proxes are waay better than the Azenis in my opinion. There are better Toyo Proxes tires out which is the T1-R. I want to upgrade my tires...currently thinking about the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 or the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport which will be best.

i hope you are not talking about the azenis rt-615 or 215, because those tires make all those other tires their "female dog" in lateral grip. the sidewall on the toyo's are too soft and mushy. the turn in and response with the toyo's is not as crisp or as fast as the azenis. the azenis have super stiff sidewalls. the azenis rt-615/215 is a great tire, the only problem with them is that they are a little heavy and they get greasy pretty fast. good for auto-x but not great for a road course with moderate or high hp.
