Kim Sarang Does anybody know this guy? What happened to him?

I remember a really cool musician from 99~01 named Kim Sarang.
I remember buying his first album and being pretty blown away to see an 18 year old produce his own music while playing his own instruments.
He hasn't released anything new in years... so I wonder
If anybody know swho he is, do you know what happened ot him?

I like him! I have his second album. I've been looking him up for a long time with no results.
I don't know if its him but a guy called Kim Sarang produced Yoon Band's 5th album.

I speak Korean but I'm not fluent.

I don't have his 2nd album but I did buy his 1st.

One question: Did he produce the whole Yoon band 5th album or did he just produce a few songs?

^ yeah. I remember I got excited one time when I saw a link for kimsarang.com only to find some woman's pictures.

btw, you guys heard of a rock group called Amp? I think one of the guys used to be in Kim Sarang's band.

I really want to see him make a 3rd album because he's probably one of the most talented singers in Korea. He reminds me of Seo Taiji by producing his own songs and playing his own instruments. It's a shame not that many people know him because his stuff is really good. I still listen to his first album and I bought it back in 99~00.

i've only heard his second album, the nanotime one, which is pretty good. techo-ish tunes if i remember right. haven't listened to that cd in a looooong time.

i'm loving his U-turn album.
he performed U2's 'with or without you' with yoon do hyun on ydh's loveletter some weeks back and it was amazing.

Kim Sarang is like my favourite artist right now. His first and second albums were amazing, but I haven't got his third yet. He's seriously one of the most amazing muscicians I've heard.

Some of his songs remind me of Silver Spoon. When he raps and his voice gets higher, it sounds like it. I love it. ^^

i just watched the youtube link. omo~ he sang an english song. i love her voice. plus he plays the guitar!!!
this is the first time to hear his song and his voice. just my type. haha
