Yay, finally get to post in this thread haha!

Today, I made a steak salad with roasted red bell peppers, mozzarella and parmeggiano reggiano cheese! I also made cheese tortellinis with marinara sauce, thyme, parsley, and mascarpone cheese with mozzarella and parmeggiano reggiano cheese on top!

It was fun to make ;D

...and now I'm waiting for my mom and brother to come home so I can eat it. >_<.

i put my own little twists to it with the blueberries and i only cutted it into 2 layers for the mere reason of laziness tongue.gif

...weird green cupcakes... but they taste good! hehe smile.gif

When making porridge, what's the ratio between rice and water? Did you add anything else to it?

What's the green stuff? Is it white chocolate with green dyes?

well when i make porridge i put left over rice and 2 cups of water at first-i dont really know the exact measurements, but when it drys up i just put more water to make it more liquidy, -its way more water than rice though, i addes chicken cubes to the porridge to make it taste like... chicken! hehe biggrin.gif

-the green stuff are white chocolate, but for some reason my mom bought me green ones... weird smile.gif

They just call it decorative silver candy at the store. not ever grocery store has it.. you should try novelty candy stores or stores that sell things in bulk.

My guilt, from not posting anything on my second most visited thread in soompi, is killing me. So here goes.. a little contribution for the all the hungry soompiers out there *like moi!* ...

Chicken sandwich with self-made garlic-pesto dressing and salad

Chinese-style dry-noodle with sweet stir-fried cubed chicken.

and the always-so-popular.. Kimchi fried rice!

다 맛있다 !!!

I don't usually do measurement, pretty much just eye-balled everything ^^, but here are the ingredients:

for the garlic pesto:
garlic
basil leaves
italian parsley
cilantro
pine nuts
parmesan cheese
fresh ground pepper (you can add salt too if you want, but the parmesan gives enough saltiness for me)
puree all the above in a food processor, while adding olive oil until it becomes a smooth and thick paste.
and oh, you can add mint leaves if you want a hint of mint in your pesto sauce.

for the dry noodle:
In a bowl, mix sesame oil, soy sauce, a dash of sugar, white pepper, a little bit oyster sauce, put aside.
Drop egg noodle in a pot of boiling water (if you're using fresh egg noodle -you know, that covered with flour-, make sure you have enough boiled water, because otherwise.. the cooked noodle would get icky). Strain noodle until dry, mix with the sauce in the bowl.

and for the sweet stir-fried cubed chicken to top the noodle:
chicken, cubed
soy sauce
oyster sauce
sugar
fish sauce (just a little bit)
stir fry the above

add minced scallion, and poached choy-sum (or just any greens), and voila!

Ummm I think it took me about 30 to 45 minutes to make it? It didn't seem like a lot of work like I thought it would. Thanks though! I was quite proud of myself when I finished making it.

Wow everything looks delicious. O_O

I have a question...
I never really baked before and I'm planning to make a batch of brownies before a friend of mine leaves for college.
People are telling me I'll need a rectangular pan to bake them,

but would it be okay to use the Foil Pans? Please reply asap. Anyone! sad.gif
I need to know by Monday, thanks in advance! <3
