The pho looks delicious!
Whenever I make chocolate chip cookies, they tend to flatten out. How do you keep them so high?

not 100% but i think it has something to do with the pudding mix packet the recipe called for. it helps the cookies to hold its shape and keep softness.

the recipe is absolutely delish and i recommend getting Jell-O white chocolate pudding mix. it provides the best flavor

fresh tagliatelle pasta from Via Elisa, with fresh oyster mushrooms, leeks, shrimp (wild caught, fresh) and some lemon-pepper seasoned chicken (all sauteed in extra virgin olive oil); the sauce is based on Nigella Lawson's egg yolk/creme fraiche mixture - i added a bit of lemon juice and lemon zest too.

^ Thanks, i bought this lemon pepper seasoning @ Whole Foods, and use it a lot.

I combine it with sea salt, and press it on the chicken before putting it in the pan - it helps it to cling better. I also LOVE to use lemon zest, it is so fragrant. Too bad I can't find any Meyer lemons for sale or else i'd use that.

Can't remember if i posted this before or not, but i just had french toast again biggrin.gif

Mm, french toast, looks eggy. -drools-

I was on a bit of a baking high today..

I tried the chocolate chip cookies recipe Azngel posted, but mine didn't come out as nicely as hers did. sad.gif Although they are better than my usual flat outcome:

I made lemon squares as my boyfriend's mom requested, first time making them too -hopes she likes 'em- sweatingbullets.gif :

And some shortbread cookies:
