Ohhhh, they both look SO good. Can I have the recipes? XD

I usually take the cheap way out of getting the pancakes (the frozen kind, haha) but I would love to learn how to make it from scratch.
And my mommy likes her banana muffins, hehe smile.gif

QUOTE (Azngel @ Jan 9 2008, 11:58 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
how did you get your crumb muffin to actually have crumbs? mine just melted into the muffin and it was more like brown sugar syrup poured over the muffins than a crumb.

i love your spring onion cakes. im too lazy to make them, just buy them frozen at my local asian store tongue.gif

heyz ^^* lolz, well i got the recipe for the banana muffinz off foreverandaday @ here >>>Banana crumb muffinz

QUOTE
Banana ccrumb muffinz

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 bananas, mashed
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 10 muffin cups, or line with muffin papers.

In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, beat together bananas, sugar, egg and melted butter. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until moistened. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour and cinnamon. Cut in 1 tablespoon butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle topping over muffins.

Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of a muffin comes out clean.

but i didnt use cinnamon, i added a lil vanilla essence/oil instead =]
for the crumbz, the recipe states that sugar, flour and some butter to be spread/sprinkled over the top =)

and as for the spring onion pancakes , i got the recipe from Leisure Cat >>> http://www.leisure-cat.com/frm_1459.htm

@ Azngel & Kalea ~ i never knew u can buy them in ready made packetz/frozen =O ohmy.gif might have a lookout for them next time i go to the shop =]

LukChaTastic : the second cake is so cute. I love the flower decorations. Is it just a regular cake?

Lol, I never even thought of the possibility of making my own pancakes. The frozen ones are simple and quick, grab 'em out of the freeze, let 'em defrost a little, pan fry, and then gobble them all up biggrin.gif

Thanks for the recipes! I will definitely try them out sometime soon! I do need my mom to translate the pancake recipe for me though, I suck laugh.gif

EDIT: What kind of flour do you need? And is that measurement in kilograms?

i may not be as good or great as suki sama, but I DID IT! (with most of the help from my sister) We made cupcakes!

Suki gave me the ingredients on how to make her sweetilicious swirls on her cupcakes, but i failed to have the ingredients so I improvised: just used icing sugar - and now it's sweeter than EVER! seriously it's bad for ur teeth, not only that but my cupcakes taste so CRAP! DELICIOUS biggrin.gif

I even made one a clover designed one just like goodluck bear

How did i do Suki? =] Are u proud of me now?

HAVE YOURSELF - A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS

I have question when you make mini cheesecakes..

Is it okay to use vanilla wafers as the crust instead of the traditional grahm crackers crust? 0.o
