I read that there was a question on fondant and I remembered a website I once went to. The recipe is said to actually make a "tasty" marshmallow fondant and since I see many of you say it's not-so-tasty, I thought I'd share it.

I'll be honest, I have never made it myself. I tried once then realized it asked for icing sugar rather than regular XD
You can go here:
http://whatscookingamerica.net/PegW/Fondant.htm

(pic from link above) I DIDNT MAKE THIS (: it's just for visual purposes

Let me know if anyone tries this recipe out. Maybe if my dad puts in the love to buy his daughter a good mixer & more baking supplies I'd be able to attempt it tongue.gif

I felt like baking cookies today. They turned out delicious but I didn't have as much chocolate chips as I usually like with this particular recipe so the cookies didn't turn out to shape like how I tend to like them. sad.gif Oh wellz, I made a huuuugge batch. XD

Cookie dough

The finished product

To get it round all you have to do is shape the dough into a ball with your hand before you bake it right?

Oh! The egg tarts look pretty good!! I really like them...yummy yummy!

I attempted a Japanese cheesecake today. I substitute regular cream cheese for fat free but it still turned out alright. Maybe I didn't have enough water for the water bath since the tray I used wasn't very deep. It didn't turn out as light and fluffy as it should've, I don't think...

My attempt to garnish a slice and make it look cool but it's not a "real" cheesecake so it looks kinda funny:

Is there a receipe for this Japanese cheesecake? Thanks

asukaxD and crackednut, I'd love to give you the recipe for the sesame balls, but these are made by feel of hand.
I don't have a recipe for them unfortunately!
Hmm.. but I can roughly gauge the ingredients for you.
Sweet potato{boiled and mashed}, glutinous flour, rice flour, water for the dough.
As for the filling you can get ready-made ones, pre-packed.
My red bean filling has been done from scratch, so the steps are much longer;
ie. soak the red beans, pressure cook them till they're soft, in a separate wok make some a mixture of gula melaka {something like brown sugar, but kinda different}, sugar, and then make it into a syrupy mixture before adding in the pressure cooked red beans. Then comes the tedious part = stirring.
Anyways, if you skip the homemade red bean filling, take equivalent amounts of dough, wrap it around the filling and make it into a ball. Wet the exterior and roll it around in sesame seeds.
Deep fry until golden brown and poof! There you have it!

I'm sorry I can't give you the exact measurements, cause I just mixed the ingredients in by hand )=

JayCy90, your cookies looks heavenly! + your carrot cake! To die for!

poloblue, I really suck at cooking seriously.
So for the stuff I cook, everything's made by feel of hand - unlike when I bake, I'm very particular with my measurements.
Sheesh, so I really don't know how I can give the recipes for them when I don't know the exact measurements!

sphynkter, thanks for the generous compliments! (=
I don't know how to type the recipes out seriously TT___TT
Because there's no fix recipe!! Errr.. what if I just type out the ingredients and leave out the amounts?
I'll add in the method as well.
I don't know how else I could go around doing this. Puhahaha, the thing with cooking is that nothing's fixed, these are recipes I picked up from hanging around mom in the kitchen, so I don't have specific measurements.
Do let me know (=

peachiez89, ditto!
Anything with red bean is love to me!! <333

littlebutter_210, OMG. You cooked all THAT?!
Envious. I need to learn how to make sushi seriously, my brother is much better at them than I am!

Anyways, to share what I made today:

These wedges are made with Mc Cormick's instant seasoning, so it's really easy XD
Before they were popped into the oven:

Egg tarts:

Do you have a recipe for the Egg Tarts? Thanks.

I made Pepero sticks and chocolate bonbons today. I tried to copy Ferrero Rocher sweatingbullets.gif . I used chocolate, wafers, nutella, and hazelnuts. I'm bringing it in for my class on Valentines Day.

I made them myself sweatingbullets.gif. I made them from almond flour, cake flour, oil, eggs, and sugar.

I love your pepero sticks biggrin.gif
I have a question though, for the chocolate, do I just melt chocolate and dip the sticks in?
