It is always a dangerous thing when I get bored...the other half thinks I have way too much time on my hands.
I start designing things like this and jumping up and down demanding that we make it:

And then it just multiplies...

And strange things happen...

The whole thing just kinda spirals out of control

And grows...

...Until it turns into:


Sorry for the picture spam, i just think its cute ^^;;
The bouquet form is inspired by suki's tutorial...we've just adapted it to our lack of piping skills

That's great! What did you use for the wings of the bees? I love the cupcake bouquets because you can easily make it so personal like that depending on the person you're giving it to.

Yuumm, I love banh beo. esp with the fried fat..haha. I've never had homemades ones. I've also get either at resturant or at the deli.

ahh all the baked goods looks so good along with the designs! but who eats them for u guys? when i bake stuffs my family dont eat it because they don't like sweets T^T but i really lik baking but who am i supposed to feed all the stuffs i baked? the trashcan? sad.gif

I feed it to my friends. They love it when I feed them. LOL I also experiment on them. hehe like the mini-mini cupcakes I made. PUFAHAHA >:)

I have a question, is it ok if I ask it here since since there are so many talented bakers here? unsure.gif

recently I've been trying to make chinese paper-lined sponge cake... (no pictures right now, sorry sweatingbullets.gif ) I don't have paper cups, so I use mini-loaf tins. But I've been having problems with the cake coming out all risen and nice and poofy.. and then shrinking down. How can I have it remain poofy?

Haha thanks! The wrappers were originally zip-lock bags and I just cut off the zip part and tied the ends with ribbons.
