i'm not a pro baker like you guys and usually everything I make turns out ugly but pretty-good tasting
so today I made some muffins :) its eggless and like wheat O_O but yah. since SHINEE RULES, i spelled
shinee out with raisins. i also drew/put raisins to make a heart and spell the letters o (onew), t (taemin),
j (jonghyun), m (minho) & k (key), out :D its hard to read cause the muffin kinda.. expanded/grew so
its all stretched. and also the raisin color blends in with the muffin >.< but yah they taste okay. really
healthy though! plus for my summer "diet" goal ^^

heres the pics:

-got SHINee? O.O

yes i do, here are the muffins recipe: (Credit: allrecipes.com)

INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
2 tablespoons any flavor fruit jam (I used grape jam)
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Heat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Grease bottoms only of 12 muffin cups or line with baking cups.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; mix well. In a small bowl, combine milk, oil and egg; blend well. Add dry ingredients all at once; stir just until dry ingredients are moistened (batter will be lumpy.)
Fill cups 2/3 full. Place 1/2 teaspoon any flavor jam on each muffin before baking; press into batter. If desired, sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 1 minute before removing from pan. Serve warm.

___
the cake is actually a sponge cake and here is the recipe for the cake(again from allrecipe.com smile.gif )

INGREDIENTS
3 eggs
1/2 cup castor sugar or superfine sugar
2/3 cup self-rising flour

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease an 8 or 9 inch round cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whip together the eggs and castor sugar until fluffy. Fold in flour. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top of the cake springs back when lightly pressed. Cool in the pan over a wire rack.
______

Cream:
Ingredients:

Heavy whipping cream
powdered sugar
(the amount of cream and sugar is up to u)

Directions:
Whip the cream in a cold bowl and add powdered sugar as u keep whipping the cream. (the sweetness depends on how much sugar u add so i dont have a specific amount)

*the pinkness on the cream was from a pink colored food spray i used

Cherry glaze:
Ingredients:
1/4c smashed cherries
1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch
white sugar (amount depends on how sweet u want it to be)
ready made strawberry glaze (from market)

Directions:

Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits! Yummm.

All that was left sweatingbullets.gif Family gobbled them up really quickly.

Recipe for anyone interested:

Ingredients:
2 cups Bisquick. baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese -- shredded
1/4 cup margarine or butter -- melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450. Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min. or until golden brown. Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm. Makes 10-12 biscuits

If you don't have garlic powder:
Substitute several cloves of chopped garlic for the garlic powder and let stand in melted butter while preparing biscuits.

I got the recipe from http://copycat.cdkitchen.com/ ^^ They have a lot of "copycat" recipes, which are basically recipes that people have made to imitate popular food from restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc.

Chef Thomas Keller invented a contemporary variation of ratatouille called confit byaldi for the 2007 animated film Ratatouille.

Here's a link to the recipe: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/13/dining/131rrex.html

It takes a reeeeeeeally long time to make though... sweatingbullets.gif It's good to make once so you can taste it, but I don't think the taste wows me enough to make multiple times. Hehe.. it looks like it takes less than an hour in the movie to make, but preparation time is actually about an hour or more... and then it's in the oven for about 2.5 hours.

I roasted my peppers traditionally on the stove top over a low fire until all sides were black... This part takes the longest. It takes about 15 minutes or so to roast the whole pepper and there's like 3 of them to roast. Shortcut is using the broiler in the oven. Also for the tomatoes that need to be seeded and diced, I just used canned diced tomatoes. blush.gif

Good luck! Post pictures when finished!
Cheers!!!

O.M.G. this is awesome since I LOVE their biscuits!! You can buy them at the store frozen too if you're too lazy to make it yourself. My mom has gotten them before and they're pretty good.

Yea, I used a mold.

I used a chocolate candy mold from Michael's. It's usually meant for peanut butter cups, but I used it for the bottom of the candy.

Hope that helps.
Cheers!!!
