Cappuccino cheese cake recipe:

1-1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts, toasted
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 cup boiling water
4 pkg. (250 g each) PHILADELPHIA Brick Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 cup sour cream
4 eggs
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix walnuts, butter and 2 Tbsp. sugar; press firmly onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Dissolve instant coffee with cinnamon in boiling water; set aside.

BEAT cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and the flour in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gradually add coffee mixture, mixing until well blended after each addition. Blend in sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.

BAKE 45 to 50 min. or until centre is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Top with small dollops of whipped topping. Garnish with additional cinnamon, if desired.

OMG All the food that have been posted lately look soooo good. So jealous. T^T

All I have are my two simple pasta dishes.

This one I cooked yesterday:

Lemon spaghetti (whole grain) topped with chicken. Simple but addicting.

This one I cooked today:

Rotini with marinara sauce.

haha.. actually, i have been cookin, but it's odd to take pictures in the middle of a nice dinner and let her know the public is watching. so i just opted out for now. we had pasta the other night.

on a fun note, i made a disaster of a dinner last night. wanted to make a beef stew but it became more like a gravy than a stew. i guess i coulda made some mash and poured it over, but totally failed as a stew!! oh well smile.gif

Try cooking beef stew in a crock pot. But before you do, make sure you toss the stew meat with flour and sear it in some oil, then place it in the crockpot. Works everytime I make beef stew. I also add pearl onions, potatoes, carrots, and some beef broth. Don't forget a dash of red wine. Beef stew with french bread on a cold day equals heaven for me. tongue.gif

yea... i do it similarly. what happened last night was that i had some marinated short ribs, but i really didnt wanna fry them. so i came up with the 'bright' idea to throw them in a pot as if it were normal stewing meat and make it a stew. didn't realize there was so much oil in the meat, and on top of that a good amount of sesame oil. so instead of a nice thick stew, i got a gravy. galbi gravy.. mmm.. haha

I'm sorry. I don't have the exact recipe. I don't measure my food, mostly eyeball everything to fit my taste. smile.gif

So........ I marinaded some chuck steak in Thousand Island Ranch dressing for a few hours to eat for lunch.
I have nothing else on hand, since I just moved into my new apt.
My boyfriend said to me when he heard this "Great job ruining a perfectly good piece of meat." dry.gif
But anyways, I thought it tasted yummy. I love using the George Foreman Grill hehe
