i made mini cheesecakes recently. :3 i think they look funny cuz they always end up having cracks in them, but they taste hecka goooood.

when you bake any type of cheesecake you have to place them in a water bath in order for them not to crack. They take longer, but I'm guessing they are worth it? I'm not a cake cheesecake fan or a big cheesecake fan, but yeah, it helps it look tastefully/atheistically better? Haha, if you want to think it like that.

oh and here's the picture of the nice baked cheesecake i made with my friend (the one that posted before me, haha)

1) those are the star shaped one, since we kind of ran out of the circle ones. haha. this one is with dark chocolate, we didn't have enough, so yeah. haha.
2) the circle ones! i think they look cute. haha. this one is with white chocolate (all over it as frosting)

guhh, i really love taking photos, I wish I had a steadier hand, haha.

So today I was extremely bored and should have been doing my homework...
Instead I was reading a thread on baking a cake using a rice cooker,
so I ended up making a cake :] I had cake mix and icing at home.
I just added almonds and coconut. It was my first time, so it doesn't
look that great, but it tasted fine :]

haha, you just have to know lighting, manual on your camera, and how to fool with photoshop. (: Just take some time to play around with the manual setting on your digital camera and you'll know how to take awesome pictures in no time!

The way I take my pictures is just take off the flash, and open a window tongue.gif. Flash ruins a lot of pictures, so, I usually have it off. Other than that, nothing else.

The only problem with the above is you may have blurry pictures if you don't have a still hand. So, keep those hands steady. Macro mode on your camera helps too, but you need to be close to your food.

Key Lime Pie

Forgive the crappy pictures and decorating. I was at my friend's house so I had to make do with what I had. xD

Whacked on some lime slices just before serving.

Glad I could finally post something. xD I never take pictures of what I cook. D:

It's been awhile since I visited Soompi.

Made some smoothies and kimchi today, thought I'll share some pics. No real cooking involved, will post those another time.

Those are choco-almond shavings on top of the berries smoothie and the latte has coco-covered beans. I've too much of these sweet confections left over from x'mas.

As a bonus.. a food hamper with a surprise visitor.

(My first time doing a montage so forgive me if they look amateurish)
I've more food pics in the link in my signature.

Merry New Year everyone smile.gif

Download Picasa - it's free, and I think it's got quite reasonable, esp if you're like me and have a gazillion photos on your computer.

I made Pocky from scratch!

that looks/sounds soooo good, seriously.
if you don't mind me asking, how exactly did you make it? (cooked the donkatsu first and then rolled it with the fillings?)
