here it is.... it's nicer if topped with fried egg
KIMCHI FRIED RICE
ingredients:
1 cup ground pork-
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 1/2 cups kimchi - sliced in smaller pieces (drained; set aside the juice)
3 cups steamed white rice
1 tbsp kikkoman soy sauce for color
directions:
in a non-stick skillet, saute the ground pork; allow to render fat and add in the crushed garlic and saute it till it's light brown then add the juice of the kimchi and just let it simmer till almost dry. you can add a little more oil (vegetable, canola or olive) then add the steamed white rice and just keep mixing it till the rice is well coated with kimchi and the ground pork. add the soy sauce for deeper color. add salt to taste- sometimes i add a little garlic salt coz' there are kimchi brands that are not salty enough.
enjoy!
i always use soy sauce because it goes well with the chinese sausage; chicken stock for the noodles and chili-garlic sauce after mixing the veggies and the noodles. i cook the veggies separately from the noodles coz' i want my veggies just half-done and i avoid too much stirring the noodles so as not to break them. i actually use thong and then two spatulas when mixing them together
Thanks for the recipe.
It does look good I've always wanted to try to make this as well! <3

you're welcome and if i may reply why pandan chiffon cake is green is because pandan is green and let me assure you it's yummy. i've tasted the vietnamese pandan steamed cake as well and it's so delicious!
thank you very much
you're welcome! good luck....
WOW! they all look awesome...i bet they all taste awesome too....thanks for sharing- i want to do puff pastry so much coz' i love cream puffs! i always do everything from scratch but i think the only problem is the kneading part coz' i don't have the patience that's why i haven't really started learning how to make fondant which also requires kneading
note
for those who have not tried the fried kimchi recipe- it's really very easy and delicious. i guess it's how you do it that will make it more tasty like when you saute the ground pork and add the kimchi juice and kinda let it cook for a bit before adding a little bit more oil will do it.
EGGPLANT & TOFU stir-fry
with a little ground pork in canola oil drizzled with balsamic vinegar and chili garlic sauce

PURPLE YAM WITH JACKFRUIT AND TAPIOCA

deep-fried flour tortilla topped with ground beef cooked in garlic, onion, tomato paste, sweet basil, ground pepper, salt and hot sauce, shredded mozarella and cheddar cheese, corn kernels and scallions baked just to melt the cheese

FRIED BANANAS
burro bananas and chocolate chips in wonton wrapper deep-fried and dusted with confectioner's sugar. this is inspired by RA's (sushi bar) chocolate stuffed bananas with kahlua but i didn't drizzle mine with caramel sauce and opted for the confectioner's sugar served with dark chocolate ice-cream.
