Is it really sweet though?
if you're referring to my cake, it's not! i used a little less than two cups of granulated sugar for 3 cups of all-purpose flour, five extra large eggs and a cup of milk. the recipe calls for sweetened shredded coconut but i used the unsweetened young coconut. frosting is a cup of cream cheese and two sticks of unsalted butter and a cup of confectioner's sugar. i had to dredge the rest of my coconut for garnish with sugar so it will have some sweetness as it cook a little before i press them to the cake and the result is just fine- just a hint of sweetness and the natural creaminess of the young coconut is not lost.... total yumminess!

Fairly easy. I didn't really follow a recipe so I'll just write it off the top of my head I guess.
1 box rigatoni pasta
1 lb ground meat (or sausages which was what I did; I cooked the sausages to firm them up and then chopped them up into bite sized cubes)
1 jar marinara sauce (though I usually get two because I like extra sauce, so I add about 1/4 to 1/2 the second jar)
1 onion
2 cloves of minced garlic
Handful of parsley
1 package of mozzarella cheese (I had some extra cheddar in the fridge, so that's why the top of the cheese was orange)
Grated Parmesan cheese (if you don't have any or don't want to waste money on this you don't have to add it, same with the parsley)
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
1. Preheat oven to around 350-375. Boil water. When you boil the pasta be sure to stir often enough so the pasta doesn't stick together. You might want to take the pasta noodles out a couple minutes earlier than usual since it will be baked in the oven.
2. While the water/pasta boils, put some olive oil on your pan over medium high heat. Put in meat, add in salt and pepper to your liking. Chop up onion and garlic and add it to the meat. Once the meat is cooked thoroughly (or if you put in sausages like me, once the onions are cooked for about five minutes), add in the marinara sauce and a small handful of parmesan cheese. Chop up the parsley and mix it with the sauce. Get about 1/3 cup (I kind of eyeball this) of the pasta water and add it to the sauce.
3. When you drain the pasta, add it to the sauce and mix. Then you'll transfer the pasta into a baking dish. Top it with the mozzarella cheese and a bit more paremsan if you wish. Cover with foil.
4. Bake for about 10-15 minutes. Take off the foil, and bake for another five minutes uncovered.

8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, preferably Scharffen Berger
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon gray salt
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.
Line the cupcake pan with paper liners and spray the liners with vegetable spray.
Shave 5 ounces of chocolate and put it into a bowl. Cut the remaining 3 ounces of chocolate into roughly 1/2-inch pieces, set aside.
Combine the butter and cream in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. When the cream mixture comes to a simmer, pour it over the shaved chocolate and stir gently to melt the chocolate.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, mayonnaise, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt just until the sugar has dissolved. Pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and gently mix just until combined. (Mixing too much will prevent the eggs from rising in the oven.) Scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter into each mold, it should come about 3/4 of the way up the sides. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Do not over bake. Immediately while hot, add a chunk of the remaining chocolate in the center of each, by gently pushing it through the top of the cupcake in the center. Cool the pan on a rack for 10 minutes and then unmold them. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.

THANK YOU!
so this past weekend i experimented with chocolate cookies. i made them with white whole wheat flour and applesauce and they actually turned out pretty good! super moist but definitely not your typical chocolate chip cookie that's like crispy and thin and whatnot. but i like them.

and then i also made lemon salmon patties.

and i didn't have burger buns but i used bread instead.

i dunno about fluffy banana cake but i love it moist and not too sweet. and this one is not- i've made this a lot of times and always get compliments. sometimes i use chocolate instead of cream cheese frosting and it's yummy too.
Best Ever Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

• 3 1/2 cups icing sugar
Garnish
• chopped walnuts
1. Preheat oven to 275°.
2. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
3. In a small bowl, mix mashed banana with the lemon juice; set aside.
4. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
5. In a large bowl, cream 3/4 cup butter and 2 1/8 cups sugar until light and fluffy.
6. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in 2 tsp vanilla.
