Needed more cheese lol. But besides that, it was good! Well, apple pie and cheddar isn't an uncommon pairing actually. The cheese balances out the sweetness and the tartness of the apples. I'm going to try a pear and gruyere pie next =D! And then maybe pies with a honey crust...yea I'm a little addicted to the show...

I dunno...the idea of fruit and cheese (besides cheesecake...but that's cream cheese) never appealed to me. But I guess I should try it before I knock it. And don't worry, I love the show too. So sad it was cancelled sad.gif

And your galette looks DELICIOUS. I wouldn't mind having you for a roommate biggrin.gif

Sure! It's easy to make~
Here's the recipe for the pandan cupcake:

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. Pandan extract
1/2 cup canola oil

1. Preheat oven to 350'F. Place paper cups in the muffin pan.

2. In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder. Add in salt & sugar. Stir to mix.

3. Add in beaten eggs, yogurt, Pandan extract and oil. Stir until incorporated.

4. Lastly, scoop the batter into each paper cup until 3/4 full.

5. Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

i just made a simple choco bundt cake for my mom ^^

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat `Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don't much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.

Are there any recipes that involve using texas toast? I found some recipes that I think I might want to use but it uses a different kind of bread - http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/baked-f...cipe/index.html

Haha, thanks.

I just used store-bought cake mix (don't forget butter though!) and filled up less than 1/2 of each cupcake tin. You can bake them according to the instructions in the back of the box, and then add the truffles on the top ~8 minutes before the time's up. My truffles were right out of the fridge, so they took around 8 minutes.

Improvisation!
