I'm stalking this thread for a long time, A LOT of yummy food! <3
Thanks everyone for sharing!
I finally opened my cooking blog. (I'm blogging in french and english, I convert grams into cups (or cups into grams), it's approximative, but still okay I think.)

What I baked today, Coconut Cake :

and previously : Sugar Cookies, Sesame Seeds Bread Rolls, Chocolate Cake

PURPLE N GOLD SURPRISE

it's moist chocolate cake at the bottom and cheesecake flan on top.

for the chocolate cake i used all-purpose flour, unsweetened coco powder, baking soda, water, vegetable oil, salt, sugar, vanilla and distilled vinegar
for the cheesecake flan i used cream cheese, whole milk, evaporated and condensed milk, vanilla and eggs
baked at 350 degrees for two hours in a bain marie

t0fu: I LOVE PATE CHAUD! <3 looks good!

whole-wheat crepes made with hazelnut milk. <3

crepe batter: for about 4 crepes
1/2 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c wheat flour
1/4 c rice flour
3/4 c hazelnut milk
1 egg
1/2 capful of vanilla
1/2 tsp vegetable oil
pinch of salt

1.
combine all ingredients together, then refrigerate for 1/2 - 1 hour.
2. heat large skillet on medium, and oil pan lightly.
3. ladle a full spoon of batter, and tilt pan to cover surface and create circle.
4. wait until edges look a little dry, then flip with spatula or special skillz.
5. wait a about 1-2 minutes before transferring to plate.
6. add whatever fillings you want. (mine: nutella, strawberries, bananas, whipped cream)
7. fold in sides to create "cone".
8. eat.

hope that works out. :Q

^ Things I've made for picnics in the past: sandwiches, wraps, fruit, salad, pasta salad, cookies, cupcakes, lemonade, iced tea
You could also bring junk food like chips and soda.. but.. that's unhealthy for you tongue.gif whatever floats your boat!

Basically anything that won't turn bad or needs heating, isn't messy and is portable?

overall, there were unagi rolls, crab meat rolls, chinese sausages w/ avocado&cucumber rolls.
took us a long time to get everything ready haha.
