here's a recipe for your consideration- it's really easy so i'm pretty sure you'll enjoy a plate of omurice with no hassle
Omurice
Ingredients:
2 cups steamed rice
1/4 lb. chicken breast, cut into small pieces
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 white mushrooms, sliced
1/2 onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. ketchup
vegetable oil for frying
4 eggs
Preparation:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet and saute chicken. Add onion, mushrooms, and green pepper and saute together until softened. Add steamed rice and stir-fry together. Sprinkle some salt and pepper. Stop the heat and add ketchup, mix well then set aside. Heat 1 tsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet. Beat two eggs in a small bowl and pour in the skillet; quickly spreading it to make a round omelet. Place 1/2 of the seasoned rice in the middle of the omelet and fold top and bottom sides over the rice. Cover the frying pan with a plate and turn them over to place the omurice in the plate. Repeat this process to make two omelet . Just double the ingredients if serving more people but this serves two. Put more ketchup on top before serving
Note: You can use other kinds of meat if you want. Chinese sausage or ham will do and you can add carrots or green peas if you want

Are you using a grill pan or an indoor grill? I've been wanting to get one for my condo.

oh you are so welcome! but i wish i'm all knowing- i am not a professional chef or cook
i would recommend the fruit sponge cake over hot milk sponge cake because it has custard filling which is light and then you can top your cake with fresh fruits. the best angel food cake is healthier coz' you're only using egg whites and if you are patient in folding your flour to your egg whites, you have a winner too. you can decorate it by simply dusting with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries. tres leches is the prettiest ot them all i think.
i made these tres leches cakes for a baby shower last month.

cathedral windows jello
assorted flavored jello (strawberry, orange, lemon, lime and peach)
the creamy gelatin is a mixture of heavy cream, condensed milk and unflavored knox gelatine
this is a favorite of mine - i had to use my bundt cake pan though coz' i don't have the required molder for this dessert

i suggest you serve both with honey butter-
it is much better than maple syrup or bottled pancake syrup.
STRAWBERRY & CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
6 tsp baking powder
3 large eggs
6 tbsp sugar
6 tbsp cooking oil
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 cups milk
chopped strawberries
cup
Directions
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add wet ingredients and mix thoroughly with a wire whisk.
Batter will seem thin because of the milk but don't be alarmed if you're used to a thicker batter, the result is just fab
Spray your pan or pancake griddle with cooking oil. You will only do this once because your batter has enough oil already.
Pour a quarter of a cup of batter, add your strawberries and chocolate chips and flip when it's bubbly. Serve with honey butter.
To make honey butter
add 2-3 tbsp of honey to a stick of unsalted butter (room temp)
FRENCH TOAST
Ingredients
4 slices of white bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp sugar
Directions
Break eggs into a wide, shallow bowl. Stir in yogurt, sugar and milk.
Over medium-low heat, heat griddle or skillet coated with a thin layer of butter or margarine.
Place the bread slices, one at a time, into the bowl or plate, letting slices soak up egg mixture for a few seconds, then carefully turn to coat the other side.
Transfer bread slices to griddle or skillet, heating slowly until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side.
Serve French toast hot with honey butter. I love serving these with sliced bananas.... yummy!

thank u for answering ^^~
i think i might go for the best angel food cake recipe, although it is the amount of eggs needed that puts me off a little lol
im gonna try and make the tres leches cake later again, having a slight craving for it
for the angel food cake, it wont be too heavy if i decorate with creama dn fruits right? dont think i will use custard filling this time because half my friends dont like custard D:
ps. im gonna try the recipe for ur strawb & chocchip pancakes, it lookz soo yummy!! but is there a recipe to make less of the batter? cz the recipe posted looks like its gona make a huuuuge bowl of pancake batter

thanks a lot! i actually googled it first "korrokke" to be sure although they look like potato balls but kinda oval. google said it has meat in it though and i prefer pure potato balls. i will definitely check the video out. thanks again!

girl, you need to do some tests to find out exactly and then decide later- the best angel food cake may have a lot of eggs but they're just egg whites. my dietitian friend told me that if you're watching your weight but still want to have a little indulgence- angel food cake is the best!
for the pancake- just lessen the ingredients or use half or a quarter of it and you're fine.
i'm in a little "lazy spell" and didn't cook last night- but made this for me and my cous
CHICKEN-AVOCADO PANINI
wheat bread, a little mayo, honey mustard, chicken breast slices, avocado and cheese

i finally had the time to do this. my crab meat has been patiently waiting for my attention for the longest.
i used my lumpy crab meat, dried mustard, parsley, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, pepper, mayo, bread crumbs, panko bread crumbs for dredging and canola oil and butter for frying.
