Wow, all the food here looks great. I'm glad other young-ish people like to cook.

This was Thursday's dinner...

Bouillabaisse - Classic French seafood stew flavored with saffron, fennel and other aromatics - served with a Rouille (basically a yummy spread to go on bread and to eat with your stew)

p.s. I would've made Ratatouille in honor of the movie - which was awesome btw - but I don't think I'd like it

I have never seen anything that looked this good. ph34r.gif I WANT!
Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have
to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or
betrayed, or left behind, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their
sweetness. Tell yourself that you tasted as many as you could." -- Louise Erdrich

some marinated cucumber with hot bean paste, rice vinegar & Sichuan chili sauceA humble piece of ground chuck (hamburger) wink.gif I seasoned it with sea salt & cracked pepper, blended in some Vidalia onion, then seared it on a pan until RARE, then roasted it in the oven for 15 mins @ 300 degrees. Applied a glaze of Japanese Okonomi sauce then broiled it for 1 min.
