my mom borrow my car today so i couldn't go anywhere
thus i was soooo bored at home so i bake ~ haha, a good reason to
i made some other stuff before but i always get lazy to take pictures of them

Some fresh pink shrimp from the Florida Keys, sauteed in extra virgin olive oil with sea salt, pepper, garlic, then finished with a mixture of creme fraiche and 1 egg yolk. Topped with some lemon juice/zest and parsley.

Thanks a lot! I wanted to try something lighter than a cheese based Alfredo, and I remember Nigella Lawson did something similar on one of her cooking shows. I just poured the creme fraiche/egg yolk mixture into the pan when the shrimp were done (off the flame).

They taste AMAZING *_*
I can't wait for a party/someone's birthday so I can make and decorate some as gifts laugh.gif
(In the meantime, I'll "practice" D:)

so at the end it's purely just creme fraiche and egg yolk? how long do you toss it around for?

maybe 10-15 seconds. doesn't take long. added lemon zest and a tiny bit of lemon juice before serving - am never going to use Alfredo sauce again smile.gif
