ENGLISH AP can't decide whether i should take or not...

English may be my WORST subject out of everything, and I have NO idea how I got into the class (we had to write a personal essay)
now I cant decide whether i should take it or not
Pros:
colleges LOVE this class
it may actually teach me something, and I can get better...which i really need
Cons:
If I take it, it's almost a 90% chance I'll get a B (or even worse...C T_T)
I suck at English like no other
If I get B, I may not get into stanford, my dream school...==
I already have three AP's, two of which are pretty hard (physicsC, calc BC)
right now, I am planning to take PhysicsAPC, BC Calc, foods...both semesters, regular econ, Psych AP, Eng AP
IF I drop from AP English to Eng Honors (1 semester class), I would not take foods and instead take StatAP for a year
SO I would be taking
PhysicsAPC, BC Calc, Stat AP, reg econ, Psych AP, EngH/elective for another semester
BASICALLY what I'm asking is
1. people who have taken it already, how was it? did you find it hard?
2. should i stick with my original plan of taking APs of physics, BC, psych, and english, or should i take APs of physics, BC, psych, and stat instead?
this was long T_T thanks!
PS both teachers who teach this class are excellent but very tough

I took Eng. Comp last year as one of my junior classes and it's not difficult. The essays are a pain because there's three of them to write. Find out who's teaching it. If you have a good English teacher then I recommend taking the course.
I'm taking Eng. Lit senior year so I can't help you there, sorry!

i'm barely going to take it my senior year so i wouldnt know how hard it is, but the teachers gave us TWO essays to do over the summer already T_T. i suggest you take it though cuz a B in an ap is better than an A in a regular class.

i'm taking AP english next year. i've heard rumors of it being difficult and whatnot, but i still chose to go and take it- why? because i love english. i don't think you should take it if you dislike it. the more you dislike english, the more likely you'll do bad in it.. it was the opposite for me, so i chose to go and try AP eng. from the sounds of it, i think you should just take regular, it'll save you the pressure. since you're taking a hell of a lot of APs already.. your schedule looks killer. i'm assuming you're a senior next year. college apps and SATs are going to weigh you down first semester too. so yea, i think regular english is bes tfor you. of course, the decision is up to you. good luck in deciding.

IMO, if you feel that you can handle extra essays then go ahead and do it. If you can't, don't do it. Or else you'll be doing allnighters a lot. For my school, there's in-class timed essays (30 minutes each time) for all the block days a week and that's twice a week pls at least 3 regular homework essays a week. But that's just for my school so I'm not sure about yours.
Don't take a AP class of something you don't like, even if it is good for your transcript because it's going to be major hard and you will regret it when you get a bad grade in the class (Which is possible considering you stated that you don't like English all that much.) But if you like the challenge (and it's gonna be one hell of a challenge) then go ahead.

AP english is very hard but it is really fun; there's a lot of reading and writting.
you'll have a lot of papers. Everyday you'll have a paper to write but nothing big. there's atleast one big paper a month...
every book you read in the class you're required to write a 5 page paper analysis..
well it also depends on your teacher's way of teaching too.

I really learned a lot by taking AP Eng Lit. ^^ Last but not the least, be sure to find out more about the teacher who teaches the class because with a good AP English teacher, you will benefit even more from the class.
