there is no sound on my cpu how do i get it back? i can't check my motherboard model b/c i don't know how to or my sound card model
i just know that i can't find my motherboard model on the motherboard itself
how many times must I fall over and over again? and when will i finally succeed at a such a vital point in my life while my time is dwindling away???

The old fasion way is to look at the hardware itself. You can also try to auto-detect it through Window Updates or Device Manager. If your computer is a custom (built from different parts) it could be difficult to continue without more info but if you bought a pre-built computer then you can just lookup the model number and you should get all the information you'll need (BIOS updates, device updates, etc).

Try to goto Device Manager and refresh or auto-detect missing hardware.

There was no real need to install Windows again, you could've tried to repair it or safe-boot it and find the solution. Or did you mean you just installed Windows again and did not wipe the FS?

Perhaps you should try safe mode to see if you can stay on without being rebooted. This sounds like a virus related problem because my friend's computer was also being rebooted constantly without her doing so. You might want to safe mode and see what information you can dig up. Also disable as much startup process as you can.

Did you re-install or do a clean install?

Getting home at 3AM? Tsk Tsk. Your CPU was probably up all night worried. It couldn't take the anxiety and crashed. It's all your fault.

F8 will typically get you into Safe Mode.

boot from windows cd and go nto repair mode, most likely u need to type: fixboot, or either fixmbr in the dos prompt....?
that might repair the damaged boot sector of the hardisk, if that doesn;t work u can always try reseting the jumper on the motherboard..or if u dont have a jumper turn off the power a remove the motherboard battery for approx 5 mins, it will reset the BIOS so u can start a fresh!
