i'm currently working at a nonprofit organization and i'm also VERY involved with all the activities at my church. anyhoo. i dont get paid for working at the nonprofit organization so i'm trying to find a job to work at school. so hopefully i'll have time to work for like around 19.5hrs/week (since you can't go over 20 hrs).

Therefore, I'm taking only 3 classes, a total of 14 units. I wanted to take a seminar class because it's supposed to be a "chill class", meaning no midterm or final. You just go the class and learn interesting stuff. But I didn't want to overload myself.
I heard that you can't go over 19 hours of work a week o_o; so yeah.. I'm planning to do at least 10 hrs.

Join groups/clubs/sororities/fraternities to get to know a lot more people and befriend them. it's always good to know a lot of people. cuz you never know when you might need them later.
goodluck!

i think general course credit would be GEs/breadth classes that your university requires you take to graduate? and elective credits would count towards total credit/credits towards registration times if your school does registration by the number of credits a student has. sorry if the wording's a little weird.

College is nothing like high school. The science courses you will take for the medical school pre-reqs are not something that you can cram the night before and ace, ESPECIALLY organic chemistry. You'll need to learn how to study well and how to manage your time properly. Seeing how you seem to know how to study now, the former part shouldn't be a problem. The latter, however, may take some time to get used to.
