To the twenty+ soompi ladies, I was wondering if your period has been irregular throughout puberty, and if so, when did it start to regulate? My older sister is almost 22; I thought she'd be regular by now but she told me she hasn't had her period in three months.

As long as i've had my period it has never been irregular, it's always been the same day every month for the past 10 years now. It sucks, but it's nice because I know when it's coming.

hehe thanks for the advice<3
I have this question I've been thinking about a lot.

Is it good/bad to pop pimples and pinch out(?) blackheads?
thank you in advance!

I felt like that when I started highschool (14 yrs.). I was never emo but I started to get more and more into fashion, and I started to actually want to wear dresses.

I'm almost 17 but I still haven't gotten to the stage of wanting to wear make-up, though.

Very normal.

Just don't go bleaching it because it's dark. The girls on here are good for that no matter how harmful it is.

okay this is really embarassing but i dont who to go to ask about this. im not on my period and probably wont have it until maybe like 3 weeks into this month. but for some reason, my vagina became really itchy and this started about 3-4 days ago. theres no discharge and i tried to wash it with water and soap and i think it made it worse. it got more itchier and i scratched it. i went to buy vagisil and it doesnt seem to make the itching go away. i dont know what to do >_< do i have an infection or something?

Okay,

1. Never wash your vagina with soap and water. Your vagina has it's own natural ph balance and introducing soap to it (soap is a base) upsets the balance. That can lead to infections. Use only water and even then, try not to get water into the vagina. Use water around the vaginal lips.

2. When your vagina itches, don't scratch it. Once again, the infection spreads and only it gets worse. Believe me, I've scrubbed my vagina raw and it hurt so much when I applied medicine to the area.

3. Yes, you have an infection.

Now, I used Monistat 7 days when I had my first infection. Within 3 days of using Monistat, most of the itching was gone but you have to use it all 7 days.

I've never tried Vagisil because I haven't had an infection since. I suggest Monistat 7 days if you've never had one before.

could it be your laundry detergent or softener? or your bras are made of something irritating (like lacy nylon/polyester)? i also get chafing/itching if i wear unlined bras that have seams in the middle. or is your skin dry?

you're probably not, but if you're breastfeeding it could be a nipple infection.

you should check for lumps. coz i had this lump ages ago and i just ignored it until my skin started peeling and in the end it turned out to be a pus filled thing (i think similar to a pimple, but huge!). It was so gross! The result, coz of that thing one of my breasts are smaller than the other >.<""

Anyways the best thing to do is see a doctor and do it asap!!!

Just a sort of trivial question... eatingICE CREAM...does it actually affect your period?

x_flutter~by: It can add to the severity of your cramps because eating cold things usually makes it worse.

chineseduckling: Why on earth would you want to do that? By delaying your period, you can send it on an irregular schedule and that is worse than a small delay. I don't think there's any reason to delay your period.
