i've been shedding hair for the last few months and it's starting to really bother me. i tried changing my shampoo and i'm taking vitamins now. my parents say it might be cause i stay on the computer for too long? but i dont know if that seems reasonable.
i just want it to stop. any suggestions?

argh, I think I have one, too. but I am currently taking Macrobid(doctor prescribed) for a bladder infection. my bladder feels better, but it seems like I have all the symptoms of a yeast infection...so, is there any other solution ebsides monistat? and would the antibiotics I am taking helps?

Antibiotics don't help with yeast infections, because they kill bacteria and not fungi. Sometimes antibiotics are the cause of yeast infections, because they upset the balance of healthy bacteria in the pubic area.

I find that taking yoghurt helps. It replenishes the healthy bacteria. :)

isn't yeast infection similar to UTI? (urinary tract infection)
i've had uti about 2 times now. its similar because of the burns and yeah blah blah;
since its similar i guess theres also similar ways to get rid of it, no?
i heard drinking gatorade or cranberry juice helps to lower the pain or get rid of it; i forgot.

you should also try some yogurt with lactobacillus (i believe it's in soft yogurt (the korean drink))...it helps keep yeast infections at bay.

that's what I thought, too about the antibiotics. when I was there there April, I think I have a yeast infection, I told them it burn when I pee, and they took a urine sample and probably mistook it as a UTI, and then it went away. and this time, its for real with a bladder infection. tears.gif and now on top of it all, ANOTHER yeast infection. ugh.

I don't like yogurt much, I think they are a bit sweet and its really hard for me to eat creamy stuff. >_>! any other kind thats good?

the symptoms are similar, but from what I learn, the kind of pain is different. UTI burns are more of a pain while yeast infection is itchiness, when it is irritated, then it burns! wacko.gif and usually, the labia area are swollen. like Yzabel mentioned, cant use antibiotics to treat it. but cranberry juice does help! ^^v. I dont know about gatorade...I think those stuff does more harm than good.

have any of you girls missed your period for 2+ months after your first time having sex...
but then you're not pregnant either?

i've had like 5 tests already and all were negative
so i really don't know why my periods not coming )=

I was like that at some point. I got so stressed and worried that I could be pregnant but in truth, I never was. Longest I didn't have my period was also 2 months.

Stress, exercise, and many many factors can alter your period.

Just give it time & if you're still worried about it, consult your doctor or gyn for a blood test

I'm pretty sure you have nothing to be worried about. 5 ptests is a lot, lol.
