Heh. Actually if you only wore those "NuBra" adhesive thingiemagoogles you could get away with not knowing your band size.... Speaking of, does anyone use those? Do they actually work? Do they work for Cs and up? Because there are a lot of styles of clothing that I can't wear since I always have to wear a bra, and I hate strapless bras....

I have a question also. It might of been answered, but I've read through 13 pages of post but I haven't really found an answer yet.

When does our breast stop growing? I know it depends on the person, but on average what's the age?

When do your breasts stop growing?
Your breasts usually continue to grow for about four years after your first period. But what we mean medically by breast “growth” can be very subtle. Breast tissue develops through five “stages” during puberty. Stage 1 is the flat, childhood chest. Stage 2 is breast “budding”, when the nipples swell and become tender. In Stage 3, breast tissue enlarges from gland and fat development. Young teens usually start their first period about this time. During Stage 4, the breasts may change only in contour (shape) rather than size, and the nipples protrude. Then in Stage 5, breast growth is completed. By age 17 or 18 you’ll know your final breast size.

Of course none of that applies if you get pregnant; that completely mucks up your breasts whether you breast-feed or not. So have kids late and enjoy your cup size for a while, neh? laugh.gif

The Nu Bra does work, but I think it only lasts for a few hours. My friend only wore it with a dress she bought. I'll ask my old co-workers on Saturday because I'm going to visit them...I'll let you know more about it, k?

Actually, being around the same women doesn't regulate your hormones. It's the men that regulate your hormones and your period. So if you live with the same guy as another woman, you'll probably end up having periods in similar dates. I learned this in my psychology class and it's been proven.

Well...I don't live with any guys and I work with a bunch of girls and now we're on the same cycle. It always happens when I'm around the same girls all the time. It's kind of weird.

Comfort and fit. You don't get the right kind of support if your band size is wrong, even if the cup size is right. Also it's just uncomfortable to have a band that's too tight or too lose. I should actually get measured... I probably have a band size that's too tight, but I'm so used to it now it'd be uncomfortable looser. Sigh.

sorry if its already been answered --but whats a band? & how do you know what how big the band thingy is?

ooooh, that'd rock, thanks!

and to whoever asked... the band is just the part of the bra that goes all the way around, you get the size by measuring under your breasts around your ribcage and adding... some number or other, I forget which. It's a page or two back.

On the sports bra thing.... wear a thicker shirt/sweater over it and your nipples won't show. I've never quite gotten what the big deal is with your nipples showing a little bit, anyway.

Ohh thanks bunny.

AR YEA. I seriously think that thing is WRONG. I just probably measured it wrong...

Does mood swings actually relate to pms?

I mean.. people always blame it on pms.
"why are you so angry all of a sudden?"
"I think my period is comming soon."

Or something along those lines. My friend told me she thinks that it has nothing really to do with it? It's kind of a lie..

And well I don't know what to believe. Around that time though, I am either really depressed... or like a few days ago.. I just exploded on everyone.. so much stuff pissed me off. Could I blame it on pms?

most of the time when im depressed or super-irritated, then it usually IS because of PMS. I guess you can "blame" it on PMS, but i think it's a stupid and over-rated thing to do... smile.gif

Hey Fal-chan! I talked to my old co-worker today and asked about the Nu Bra for you and she told me that you can wear it up to 60 times and it lasts all day long. I remember it being sold out all the time when I worked there, so it must work really good. Hope it works out for you! smile.gif

Did I pop my bladder or something? Kinda embrassing question but here goes.

There's these weird times when I'm out and I have to wait like quite a while before I get to use the washroom then afterwards like every 5 minutes I would have the urge to go pee. When I do go pee there's only like a few drops that come out but the feeling is like I really needed to go to the washroom. Also, after I pee it hurts?

you might need to get some vaginal medicine cuz it might be vaginal yeast infection... i know someone who went through the same situation except she thought the pain would go away after awhile, but after a week it got tons worse and she was in bed in pain all day... she said it felt like a really sharp needle sticking in you every few seconds. OUCH.

Yeah, I used to never believe that pms would effect your mood swings but now I believe it does. Even the people around me could tell I was PMS-ing. My brother for instance would be my period switch. It's always a day before or a few days before, he would tell me "Gosh, Lily is having PMS again." It effects your hormones right?
If you knew a woman who was pregnant, who already had 8 kids -- three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis, would you recommend that she have an abortion?
♥answer If you said YES, you just killed Beethoven.
