^ No. (bolded, underlined to show severity of situation)

If you leave the infection without treating it, it will worsen and you could end up infertile.

Really..? I usually leave my yeast infection alone, it usually goes away on its own

Then it's more than likely not a yeast infection. The key word is infection and all infections must be treated or there will be consequences. You've probably just had some minor changes in your discharge.

No.

The clear "stuff" is merely the discharge from your vagina. Your vagina cleans itself out naturally and when you're ovulating, this comes out.

Clear discharge and a yeast infection are two totally different things.

Yeast infection symptoms: (May include, but not limited to) White (yellow, or yellow-brown), thick curdled discharge, foul odor (believe me, this is very obvious), and/or intense itching around the vulva and/or vagina. These symptoms often come in twos. I've have had the odd discharge and odor, but I've also had just the itching. It'll differ according to your body chemistry.

Note: If your discharge is white, but not curdled looking (think cottage cheese), do not worry because this is also a type of natural vaginal discharge.

oy...can you have a yeast inf. at any age though? o.O?

^ Yes, since we create yeast naturally, but yeast found in a child is more likely to develop around the mouth or fingernails, not the vagina.
You might want to read this website for more information and this one.

Depends where you get it. I know that I've gotten it for like $15 from Planned Parenthood, but it was around $50 when I bought it directly from a pharmacy. sleep.gif

I need help as to what I might have. It seems like a yeast infection because it's gets itchy down there everyday & it really smells, like fish. But i have no white cottage like discharge although I have to wear a liner everyday because of this yellow discharge that might be my pee but I wipe every time thoroughly so I'm kind of confused. I also pee a lot, like I have a feeling I need to pee like every hour or so, even if a little comes out, since I was maybe around 8. Or younger than that.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I also have one more question, is it normal to have your period 2 weeks before your last? Because for about a year I've been having my period on my 4th week but just last month it switched to the 2nd week.

-Does sound like a yeast infection but you should probably ask your mom or the pharmacist (if you're not too shy about it) to make sure. Consult a doctor if necessary.

-How long have you been having your period for? If you've only been having it for a few years then it's normal for you period to be a little irregular at times. Also stress contributes a lot to your period, and can make your cycle go out of whack. I've been having my period for like 12 years now (!!) and it's super super regular, but in times of stress, sometimes I have 2 periods in one month or it comes late (or early).

That's what my first symptoms were like; intense itching, odor, but no discharge. The urge to pee a lot happened, too.

If this is your first infection, you should try to see your doctor so that he or she may correctly diagnose you, but if you aren't able to then buy Monistant 7 Days (make sure it comes with the soothing wipes!). I wasn't able to go to the doctor, so my mom bought Monistat for me and the yeast infection went away.

^ No it's not, the method is pretty much the same as inserting tampon.

Yup, the tube's gotta go up there. It doesn't really hurt, it's just really uncomfortable to stick up there if you're not used to tampons.

I never had a yeast infection before, am I suppose to be getting one by now? I had my period at a really young age (eleven years old) but that problem never occurred to me --- yet.

No. There isn't a stated age as to when you're supposed to get one. I didn't have my first one until I was 16, and I've had my period since 9 years old.

Blood in your poop is usually a sign of another condition... I can't say for sure what it might be, but I know a friend of mine had that and went to the doctor to get it checked out. Turned out they had a stomach ulcer, which was causing the blood in the stool. Ulcers can be caused by stress and also super unhealthy eating habits (w/high acid content).

Oh yea or it could also be that there is a tear near your hole, which may explain the blood.
