If you're two weeks late on your period, and you have unprotected sex w/o any withdrawal, chances of you getting pregnant higher or lower? 'Cause I know that there's the safe week, then the two weeks of ovulation which is the highest risk, buuuuuut yeah. I don't know if I'm still ovulating or not mellow.gif, and I'm coming up on being three weeks late.

And yeah - I know about morning after pill/birth control/yaddy yaddy yada. I just wanted to know ^^^^^^^

^chances of pregnancy are very high. considering people get pregnant even with the guy pulling out before ejaculation.

you already missed your period, did you take a pregnancy test for that?

anyway its really the first few days (not a whole wk) after your period that the chances of pregnancy are lowered.
its not 100% safe and of course not recommended.

if you skipped a period, and you're not pregnant.
and you're coming on to your period being 3 wks late, you've probably started ovulating again by now.
seeing as how your period should be coming again in a wk or two.

not everyone gets them, but most people do. Be happy if you don't get cramps. For the first year and a half or so when I got my period I never used to get cramps but now they're really bad every month dry.gif

Hey~
I'd backtracked a little.
My query is that, my vaginal discharge is usually yellow-ish at times.
Why is it yellow-y?
My mum always gets angry if I'd that.
She will tell me it's all because of what I eat.

I think I have a urinary tract infection =|
I went to the doctor's a long time ago and he gave me some antibiotics to take for a week.
It helped but didn't get rid of it.
The strong urge to go pee frequently came back.
I know they have some over-the-counter pills at the GNC and other stores.
Can anyone recommend any?

And I wish that we had never talked,
Our hips said it all..

Different Types of Discharge
http://www.pamf.org/teen/health/femalehealth/discharge.html

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.

i missed it in Sept, and in Oct i THINK i got it a lil it just spotted (spotting still counts as a period right?) for only 1 day... and then November it doesnt seem to be coming anytime soon =S

hmmm... if it doesnt come ... i suggest u see a gynae to know the problem? coz my friend has the same case as urs, she's not pregnant and the doctor gave her some hormone pills =/ or maybe coz of stress =(

isnt it good not to have cramps and doesnt hurt? Mine hurts real badly... such tt i simply pop painkillers every month. it depends on the individuals whether they get cramps.. if the cramps are real bad for quite sometime, its better to see a gynae, like wat happened to me.... blood cyst wacko.gif which is why my cramps are real bad...

yeh, some people's mood change when its near their period.. like me tongue.gif it just depends on the individual... and it can get real bad at times tongue.gif

Only if there's an unpleasant odor and/or your vagina and/or vulva itches.

And yes, the super watery discharge tends to happen to me a few days after my periods. I just wear a pantyliner then.

Strangely, I haven't had my period for a LONG TIME.
Not long like ,3 or 4 months.
I haven't had my period for almost...10-11 months @.@
My period has always been irregular.
I would get it about every 2 month.
I start having my period at 10 @.@
I'm 14 now.
It would be regular when I was...10-11?
But around 12-13, I started high school...And I would get my period...4-6 time during my school year?

I know birth control pills stop cramps and your period flow gets a lot lighter.

So...have any of you girls found a lump at the top of your breast near your armpit?

I found one this morning and was ready to faint. I had my mom check it (she works in a hospital) and my grandmother (who worked in a hospital for 30 years) check it, too. Grandma says I need to check up on it as soon as possible, but I would still like to know if any of you girls have experienced the same thing.

Oh, and the lump is pretty small and it doesn't hurt. It's just sitting there under my skin, but it doesn't show.
