Anyways, the question that I wanted to ask you guys (girls actually) if getting cramps, PMS during missed periods is normal? Because near that time, I usually get bad cramps, feel nauseous (a little bit), dizzy, weak, grumpy, and I even black-outed (seriously, I opened my eyes and everything was dark and blurry) once for about 10 minutes since I felt very uncomfortable and my stomach hurt badly.
So yeah, I was wondering if getting symptoms are normal on missed periods.
I love when my heart smiles.____________

i deal with the blacking out thing all the time. its nothing serious. i asked my doctor and she said its just cuz i dont get enough oxygen and blood flow to my brain when i stand up or get up after lying down or something. she told me to drink more water? lol.

so I drove her to the doctor and they confirmed that she has a bladder infection and prescribed her some antibiotics. the following week, I went to her house and ask her how she feels during our session, and she says it still itches and also hurts when she pees. I thought the antibiotics doesn't work so I took her to the doctor again. I dont know what she said in there with her doctor, but apparently, the doctor prescribed her yeast infection med. but it doesnt seem to work.
my only suggestion now for her is to go to a gyno and check things out. because obviously, her doctor just prescribes whatever she tells her whats wrong.(ie: yeast infection med). that annoys the *^&*^ outta me consider I am a health science major. I don't think her and her bf had sex, probably just messing around(touching, etc).
my question is, is there a way that I can convince her to go to a gyno? I mean, I told her not to be scared and if shes not comfortable with a male doctor, we'll find a female doctor for her. she has this mind set that they will stick something in her and she will lose her virginity or something and her parents are gonna find out. Im not going to guarantee that the doctor will not suggest tests like pap smear, but ehh..I dont know what else to say to her..but she obviously needs to see one.
P.S: she's 15, i think almost 16...o_O..

Do you have to pay up front or how does it work? I just made an account and put in a request for an appointment and I'm going to find the place tomorrow to see how far it is..
I would take the pill, but I tend to forget to take my own medicine (I'm sick right now

Aw, too bad I live in Seattle.
After hearing about the whole blood clot thing, I'm a little bit skeptical. I would take the pill, if I remembered to take it, but I have really bad memory and I know I'll forget.

The patch and the birth control pill increase the chances of getting blood clots but it is one of the more rare side effects. If you start taking one of these contraceptive methods and start to feel localized pain (it seems the most common area is the legs) , then talk to your doctor.

it was in the newspaper a few days ago...i THINK that women who have been using the patch have been experiencing this more often, versus women who are on the pill. i think this only because the ortho evra patch has been in and out of the news lately, but ive never heard much on people who are on birth control pills.
obviously its best to ask an actual doctor.
anyway the patch is once a week, but there is also the contraceptive shot where its once every 2 months... for those who are forgetful

Where can i get birth control pill when i'm under 18? because i'm 17.
And how much do they usually cost?
What are the different kinds of birth control pill?
Also, at that planned parenthood, do you need to be 18 or older to go there for pap smear and pills?
can you please PM me about it? because i will forget to check back on this. also, this is pretty important before something serious happens.
when you feel like you don't deserve them."

Pill. It's called Seasonale or Seasonique depending where you're from. You take active pills for three months before a break instead of three weeks.
