^ Is it normal to get it everyday?
Yes, it is. In fact when women are planning to get themselves pregnant and are using the mucus method (checking the discharge), it's done every day several times a day to check the change in cervical mucus consistency. Just as long as there's no strong, offensive odour, odd colours (green, gray, yellow, brown and nowhere near period or right after your period) and it has a weird consistency (i.e. like cottage cheese, which is one of the symptoms of yeast infection) then you should be fine.
I've had my period for 8 years and now I want to try tampons... again. The thing is, I've tried them before, and can't seem to get them in. o.o;
I haven't had sex yet... I mean, my boyfriend put his finger inside me one time, and I felt a lot of pressure down there, meh. Ouch. It didn't feel good or anything. At least I know I have a vagina now x.x Aside from that, nothing has been inside me. Ever.
Anyways. The next time I get my period (which was supposed to be last week D:), I want to try this again.
I have two tampons: a Tampax lite (cardboard applicator) and a Tampax pearl regular (plastic). Which one should I try first?
I know basically how to use one... you put it in up to where it separates, then you push the cotton in and throw the rest away?
But I can't get it in. Dx Not far enough, at least. Sometimes I can't find where it opens.
It's hard to relax when something's about to go in my body D:
I hate being a girl. T-T
Help me?
The only difference between the two is that Tampax lite would be thinner as it's meant for a lighter flow and of course the marketing of the Pearl is the beaded string which doesn't affect your question itself. So you'd be fine to try either but if you're going to go with the Lite, you might have to change it sooner if you're on a regular flow. Just throw the applicators away regardless. Plastic shouldn't be flushed, and although some cardboard applicators may say flushable, they're not designed to easily break down as toilet paper and it could clog your toilet.
As for it going in, like you said, you have to try to relax. If you tense up, so do your vaginal wall and it makes it hard for anything to get in there. You can also try to put it in at a different angle and see if it works out better.
For those of you that take BCP, do you guys feel like it increases your appetite? o_o Cuz I started up on BCP again after swim season ended and now I feel like I'm always craving for food even when I'm not that hungry.
Increased appetite can be a side effect of BCPs.
I do have cravings with the pill I'm on now, I didn't on the one I was using before (but it made me psycho at the end of the month

).
