I have a huge problem.

I've gotten my period regularly for about 4 years already.
Starting in January, I just stopped. I thought it was irrgeular, because I'm still a teenager, and it wavers. So I was like, oh it's okay. But It's already been 4 months, and I still haven't gotten it. I know I'm not pregnant... HAHA I'm not even sexually active. But it's scary O__O I've been to the doctors, and they said it's just hormonal imbalance, and that it'll come.... eventually. But HOW LONG IS 'EVENTUALLY'? HELP!

Yea it could be hormonal imbalance, one of my friends is like that. Well, her period is NEVER regular and she's had her period for a long time, too. She doesn't get her period for months at a time. I wouldn't be worried unless you don't get your period for like a year or something.

Don't worry, it should be normal because my friends have went through the same thing. My friend went for six months without getting her period or sometimes longer.

lol it's been forever since i've asked a question in here....

my problem is ish-similar to xshoeee's i'm fourteen. last year, i had my period at around mid-february and then they just stopped coming until around september or october. the last time i had my period this year was about mid-february also. i'm not freaking out (yet), but i want to know: should i go to the doctor about this? or is this just a weird pattern?

^ It's just a weird pattern judging from your age. If you're sexually active, you should go to the doctor to check it out. If you're worried, I suggest you should see the doctor about it.

Well, my mom said it happened to her when she was little too. So I guess it's okay. I mean yeah, if it doesn't come withint a YEAR, then something is wrong.

Question to some of you gals.. or more of a quandary..

Before I start my period (usually 5dayish to a week) like my *girlypart* feels like it's wet.. like how you feel when you are on your period.. like somethings leaking.. but NOTHING is... it just FEELS like it.. am I the only one that goes through this? o_o Usually this is how I know I'm getting it.. but was just wondering if any of you other girls had this.. xD

whoa I get that too! I dunno what it is, but it makes me really paranoid...maybe it's my body's way of warning me my period's coming...but then when it does come I'm unprepared!! >0<

You mean a trip to the gynecologist? You should go at least once a year once you're sexually after or when you hit 18 (whichever comes first). It's not that bad... my doctor is a woman so it's alright. It feels pretty weird/uncomfortable during the actual exam but it's over fairly quickly, and it's not painful or anything.

before that...umm it's May 10 and i haven't had my period yet i'm so
scared i don't know if i could be pregnant because we used a condom and when
we had sex that time he didn't ejaculate. So condom, no ejaculation, and a little
late period=pregnancy? Omg i'm so worried

Ummm im really skinny (100 pounds... >.<""").... and i was wondering if u guys know any way to gain weight... i already eat a lot, but doesnt work @_@.... and it gets me so mad cuz i either dont fit in clothes properly or i look weird in them....... My parents are always screamin tat im too skinny too... >.<!

maybe you should try to eat 3 big meals a day..maybe try toning your muscles so you'll look more...lean instead of just skinny
eating lots of small meals throughout the day is supposed to speed up the metabolism so I guess do the opposite..

Periods can be late when you have a lot of stress and things like that. Someone a couple posts before you asked almost the same question. If you used a condom properly, you can't be pregnant. Just wait a few days. If you don't get your period in 2 weeks or so, then I'd be worried.

It was entertaining, going through the last ten pages and reading about all the questions and answers. I have a question regarding tampons. I'm thinking of switching to tampons but I'm not sure if it's going to leak if I use an average flow one. Usually my flow is heavy the first few days and I hate using pads because of leakage. I'd have to change between classes and I rarely even have time (I don't want to be tardy). My teachers don't let me go use the restroom (most of them anyway). So here's my question, if my flow is heavy and I use a regular flow tampon will it leak? Let's say I'd change about every two hours.

So I just had a discussion with my friend about it. She said that it will get really big and damages your er... thingy. Lol. But I don't want to use a heavy flow tampon in case of TSS. I bought a Pearl Tampax regular package and I was reading the labeling and it provided a diagram of when you should use a heavy flow tampon, regular, or whatever. If you excrete this much blood then you should use this much and such. They give you measurements in grams or something. Wtf, am I supposed to like uh... measure it? LOL. I just think that's funny (on a lighter note). But yeah.
