I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but I didn't have the time to go through 200 pages @__@'' I was just wondering if there was a good way to minimize pores so that I could have smoother skin.

Thanks smile.gif

Well I know for me, the first time I tried, I used a regular sized tampon and it sorta stung when I tried to put it in. However, that was probably due to me poking in the wrong place? So on a scale from 1-10, I would say... 3 or 4. It's not unbearable pain, just a bit of discomfort. What I would recommend is finding a smaller sized tampon...like junior? and [I know this sounds gross, but..] don't wipe away all of the blood, because it'll hurt a lot more if you don't have any lubrication.

@_@

Thank you joolee. and ayappi! I just used a regular one and it seemed to work fine I just changed it every 3 hours or so.

Wtf.Ciindy: Tampons don't really hurt. My first time hurt only because I put it in the wrong way. >.<
If you put it in right you shouldn't feel it at all. That's how you know it's in right. ^^

dude for like the past month (possibly more?) my discharge has been really weird.
normally, it was white or clear-ish and i had it every day. but NOW it's light brown or yellow, or sometimes it's like i don't have any at all? it also smells kind of... different. should i go to the doctor? i'm pretty scared to have people poking around my vag LOL but i suppose it's better to be safe than sorry.

^^^ for light brown, it might be like left over blood from your period. i read somewhere yellowish/green is bad. but i'm not 100% sure. what you should do is google it. there are so many resources on the internet. and if you're still worried, you should definitely go to the doctors.
sadly, some people will never change no matter what you do.

Use baking soda! It's great for the skin, minimizes your pores and makes it feel smooth. Make sure to moisturize afterwards :]

so i was wondering if i should get birth control pills. my period comes whenever it wants and stays sometimes for 2 weeks? i've had my period for exactly 4 years now and its still not regular. im 14 turning 15 soon. my sister told me if i wanna get birth control pills they have to look down there. do they really have to? lol. kinda scared about that._. yeah, im not sure if i should get them tho.

i got my bc pills from planned parenthood and they didn't check down there o.o...

that's only if your sexually active for three years, and it's recommended to be check down there when your 18,
but your not 18 yet so yeah... sweatingbullets.gif

i mean, if you want to get them then go for it.
Just be aware of the disadvantages and advantages and symptoms and things that can happen

before i went to p.p, i searched alot about bc pills on the internet

if you want to know more, i suggest you go to planned parenthood's website: the teen section

it's pretty helpful

i hope that helps you!!!

actually...i have a question too...about birth control
is it okay to skip the empty pills and just go straight to the new pack?
should i still wait seven days before having unprotected sex??

thanks!!!

you can still have sex. there's enough hormones to protect you during the 7 days you don't take pills. it's good to take the 7 empty pills so you don't forget when your next pack starts. you don't have to, and DEFINITELY DO NOT go straight to your new pack! you have to wait 7 days.

anywho my question is
is it normal to miss a period when you change birth control brands? i was using alesse and then changed to yasmin this month, i just finished the first pack and i start a new one tomorrow...but no period! i usually have it on friday, finished by monday when i start a new pack >_<

i googled and some people say it's okay, but i'm a little worried. waiting until doctor's office opens on monday to make sure. just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem so i feel a little better

I too have questions on birth control! (I'm such a ditz, I've now found this thread, I never knew it existed)
I've recently started (still on my first pack) and was wondering if it's ok to change the time of when I have to take the pills, I've tried searching online but haven't found anything on this topic....I don't think it'll cause serious complications or lessen the effectiveness but I'll still like to hear some opinions.

Since the pill also works 12h after you forgot it, you can change the time. But it's better to change it to a earlier time. So you just have to take it earlier on the next day and keep going on with that time.
Do not exceed 12h of difference if you're going later though.

Sorry for my bad english, but I hope you can understand what I mean. ^^;

Don't worry, well on the scale of 1-10 it is a 2.
'Cause I use a plastic applicator, it doesn't hurt as much if you were to use cardboard or no applicator at all.
Make sure you have lubrication, it hurts when you don't. ;~; Put it in at a 45 degree angle.
When you do use it, make sure you are relaxed. Try putting on leg on a toilet seat.

At the first time it hurt like 7/10 for me. :x
It was very hard to get it in as well...

But if you have more practise it's done within a few seconds without any pain, don't worry. happy.gif

Since the pills simulates you're pregnant, it can happen yes.
They shouldn't stay like that forever. ^^

Are you taking a pill break after one pack? If not it's very common that your breasts will have "pregnancy" comlaints...

does anyone know if taking BCP effects your chances later in getting pregnant?
say if you go on them now... and take them... but when you decide to finally have and start a family of your own... .will you have troubles conceiving? my mom said that you would if you take the pills... i'm wondering if that's just a myth or not....

I wished ive took notice of this thread a lot sooner sad.gif

Anyhow, excuse me if this has already been answered (its 2 am and i dont really feel like going through the 100+ pages sweatingbullets.gif )

So recently ive been really wanting to get a Brazilian wax. However, i am a little anxious about the experience. Shaving is totally out of the question for me (heck, i couldnt even stand it regrowing on my armpit, yet alone my privates) but ive consider trimming since my main purpose was so it was't disgustingly long and hairy. Even so, im not sure how good of an idea trimming would be either, considering it would also be as irritating (maybe a lil less) as shaving?

Can someone give me their experience with Brazilian waxing or trimming the private areas? thanks!
absence makes the heart grow fonder

My breasts have gotten softer though and a bit bigger (according to the s.o) not harder lol, but my boobs are tiny so maybe that why.....

"Pregnancy" compliants?

I think I'm having one! I know gaining weight is normal, but i believe my belly is starting to look as if I'm pregnant. Other people keep telling me I'm crazy because they don't notice anything, so I'm hoping someone else experiences this!
