I'd be careful if you're not taking an FDA-approved herbal medicine. They can cause harm since they're not regulated. mellow.gif Regardless, try to take the pill every day around the same time. It's not like you're going to die if you don't take it exactly at the same time but it's just good habit for most efficiency-kind-of-thing.

That's just a form of cramps. I get that too, instead of in my abdomen. Basically take painkillers like Advil or Midol or something, and you can always get either and electric heating pad or those patches that heat up that you stick on the inside of your clothes. Also physical acticity helps relieve cramps.

'thanks for the advice^^

Oh alright. Thanks! (:

Now I have a question of my own. If you're overweight, is it normal if you don't have your period regularly? I don't have my period at all unless I eat some medicine which is supposed to give me the hormones that I lack to push my period. & My mom seems really really worried.

It's not normal. Your period is irregular due to the lack of hormones. Don't worry though, during adolescence your period can be whack. My period never came for over a year even though it was regular before that. If you and your mum are worried about your irregular period, you can go to your doctor and do some tests. You could try drinking soya bean milk or something to get more hormones ? I forgot what you had to eat for more hormones ;S

i've been having my period for over 2 weeks now.
each day there's not too much blood... around enough to use up half a pantiliner?
i've had pretty regular periods for the past 2 years,
every 35-40 days i'd have periods that'd last 1 week.
i dont know what happened this month ><"
i am not sexually active, im not on bcp... what is going on? =(
i'm 17 btw.

^ How old are you? Some girls don't get regular periods until they get older. But you can try birth control to help regulate your cycle. When I first got my period sometimes I would skip months and sometimes PMSed for a whole month. TT___TT

I'm 16. (:

Alright. I'm currently on medicine prescribed by a doctor, so I guess I'll be okay for now.

^ when trimming, i usually shave it first so its smaller and the trim the part left keeping it pretty short. i personally dont find it itchy, but i might've just gotten used to it.

I trim mine pretty short, I doubt trimming would make it itchy. I never had that problem before.

i trim very close to my skin.
It was itchy the first few times, but my skin has gotten used to it.
And I wish that we had never talked,
Our hips said it all..

Hey ladies i have a question.
So i've been doing this for awhile now but been debating anywho, i've been buying
my birth control pills at planned parenthood but now i'm thinking of transferring that
to a local walmart/cvs/walgreens whatever. So my question is, have you guys ever transfered
your pills before? and is it cheaper because it is from walmart/cvs/walgreens? yeah, i just want
to know because i don't know what this process is like and i don't want to pay 21 dollars for having my
pills at pp >< thnx in advance!

i just read the top 7 things you wanna avoid in deodarant. and now im kinda freaked out. i use degree for women and theres this aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly thing in it.

my question is, which deodarant is the least harmful to the body? and can be bought in the supermarket?

is it okay to skip the green "empty" pills and go straight to the next pack to avoid having a period??

because i'm at the end of the light blue pills and as soon as i started the new pack, actual drops of blood would come out
and sometimes i would wear a tampon...it stopped after an hour or so...but is it normal to do that and is it okay?

am i still protected from being pregnant?

should i just stop, have my period and then start a new pack as soon as my period ends?

i'm on Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo by the way...

some people skip it to avoid the period and its perfectly fine *from what i read/heard*
their just placebo pills anyways just to get you into a habit of taking your pills. from what
my friend told me about some placebo pills they have iron and some other stuff so that your
period starts but idk if its true but i definitely know its fine to skip the inactive pills :]
about being protected i'm sure you're still protected but just be careful and have a condom
handy! hope that helps

QUOTE
You can skip the inactive pills and immediately start taking the active pills again, however you have to plan ahead. If this is the first time you are trying to skip your period, you will probably have breakthrough bleeding.

Here is a great source of information on how to skip periods, though:

Everytime before my period comes, I get like dark blood (which is like old blood) rather than fresh red blood. o__O Then after a few days of the old blood, I get new blood. It's so weird and I don't think it's normal....anybody know what's wrong with me? ;__;

Newbie question: For those who trim, wouldn't it be really prickly, since the hair is blunt? That's one of the reason why im planning on waxing instead of shaving/trimming. And even though im not sexually active right now, that seem like one hell of an annoying problem xD or is that not much of a problem for those who do trim?
absence makes the heart grow fonder
