Since you're back at school now, don't you have a school nurse? She might be able to help. ^^

Wouah! :/

Well then...if you really are concerned that something is wrong, tell your mother you'd like an appointment with your doctor. If you don't feel comfortable telling him ( Though really you should tell him. Even though it might feel awkward, he is your doctor afterall. He needs to know if you think something is wrong. ), ask, when you're booking the appointment, for a female nurse or, if available, for a female doctor.

Most clinics are quite understanding and will fulfill such requests. happy.gif

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this but I was told not to wash my face during my period 'cause it'll irritate my skin. Is it true?

I don't think that's true... it's true that you can get more acne during your period because of increased hormones, and washing your face more often might lead to more oil production --> more acne. BUT, I don't think that it hurts to wash your face regularly during your period.

your period can disappear if you are underweight and you don't eat enough.
make sure you get enough lipids in your diet too.

haha and i dont know about the not washing your face when youre on your period...
it seems like skin irritation wouldnt really be related to hormones, right?

Hey all,
Yeah so when you have cramps, what do you guys do for the pain to "go away" ??
My mom always told me to not walk with my barefeet because I could have cramps ._.
I also heard somewhere that I you eat bananas it will ease the pain ._. But I don't think it works ;;
And the classic thing about putting a hot-towel where it hurts . . . Like in the belly area I think ??
Sometime my mom just make me drink Advils ._.
-----
I think AsianBamboo is right. " Increased of hormones => More Acne => Washing face too often => More Oil production " thingy . . . yeah

to get rid of cramps, i lay down on my back and put a hot water bottle on my stomach right below my belly button if it hurts in the front [that's usually where it is], or if it hurts in my lower back i lay on stomach and put a hot water bottle on my lower back, i also do yoga, drink milk and eat lots of salads. i read that if you eat alot of salty food around/during your period, you could get really bloated. so during your period eat alot of fruits and veggies and try not to have alot of salt.

Really? I was taking Ortho-Tri-cyclen, but I thought my boobs (32A >_<) was fuller than usual...I only took it for a month though. It cost me $50 a month, so I stopped after the first month. T_T My boyfriend wears a condom, but it still makes me worried every month.

I get mine free from the local clinic, maybe you could try that! smile.gif
mine seem firmer yet emptier and saggier...it's weird T_T ..like all of the volume in my breasts is at the bottom..the upper chest is like completely flat..it looks terrible..
I think I have hormonal problems..lol
when I wasn't on the pill I had the WORST cramps,,I never fainted but cried and assumed the fetal position from the cramps wacko.gif it was terrible
I also read hormonal imbalance is the reason for 80% of underdeveloped breasts...I've always felt like my hormones were out of whack but I never knew how to go about telling a doctor how I felt,,hmm

Does anyone else get their bc pills from planned parenthood?
Well, I just got finished with my year's supply, which was free and I was wondering how much I will have to pay?
I have zero income but I don't think they give me another year for free.
And I wish that we had never talked,

Having my period does not affect me in one bit. Which means it doesn't make me lose weight, get cramps, break out, and such. Everything is normla they only thing different is having it drip dry.gif I guess it depends on the person. I know some people who skin get really bad when their on their period

if you still don't have any income I don't see why they'd charge you..did they mention that you'd have to start paying?

You guys can just go to planned parenthood and get them for free?! My coworker goes there, but they charge her like $40! She said prices went up so high, that she can't even afford to have sex anymore. xD That's still like $10 less than what I had to pay though. But Ortho Tri-cyclen was the 2nd kind of BC pills I've ever taken where my period actually came. I was on some other pill...I forgot what's it called, but it was a mini-pill. I took it for like 3 or 4 months, and my period never came during the time I was taking it...it was so scary. T_T

Okay, so I'm an idiot and I now have tremendous razorburn that hurts like no other...in a region especially sensitive to females...o___o

I'd shaved there before, but told myself I'd stop because the growback was unbelievably itchy--it was like torture. But, I read on soompi somewhere that it helps if you put lotion on it after shaving, you feel fine. So I did that, but it still burns like hell.

I don't like letting it grow wild. I like trimming, but it makes my hairs feel prickly. I'm too cheap to pay for waxing (and also too afraid of the pain). So I'd like to stick with the shaving if I can. But if I can't find any measures to prevent the itchy regrowth and the razorburn in such a tender area, I'll just go back to trimming.

So, I guess my questions are twofold:

1) What the hell can I do to relieve this nasty razorburn?
and
2) I know this sounds stupid, but can someone tell me, in gross detail, how you go about shaving that region? Every time I do it, I fail in some way. Seriously, I need details. Get to the nitty and gritty.

Thank you!
