Do you guys just remember when you get your periods? I swear. I have the worse memory in the world. I can never remember when the last time I get mines.

i can never remember to mark or to check calendars. i never even touch calendars anymore, i never know the date. n i have awful memory too. but i always know when i'm about to get my period cuz of pms. whenever i find myself start to get really annoyed over tiny things or breakout, i know 3 days later i'm gonna start my period.

what brand/type of lip gloss are you wearing? and what color?

how bigger? like they get more plump? or do they get redder so it LOOKS bigger?

possibly...you're putting too much on...?

Whatever brand and colour I use it gets the same results. Cheap or expensive =/
They get more plump, it's weird...
I'm sure I'm not putting too much on sweatingbullets.gif

QUOTE(Delster @ May 12 2006, 05:19 AM) View Post

what lipgloss are you using? it could be a plumping one (i.e. DuWop Lip Venom has an ingredient that makes lip temporarily more swollen) or perhaps it's actually not getting bigger but rather the gloss (shine, colour etc.) just makes your lips look bigger

I don't use plumping ones, just normal ones. My lips are normal at first but after a bit they get bigger...especially the top lip O___o

if lip gloss bothers you that much, use lipstick or lipbalm? do ur lips swell up if u use lipstick or lip balm?
> does this happen often or just recently? b/c you could be allergic to sth in the product causing your lips to have a reaction to the lip gloss.
> are you sure it isnt just an illusion where the shiny lipglosses reflect light?
>or mayb u bit ur lips? u got that habit?

~*~ i'm sory some of those suggestions were a little far fetched but just wanted to help. nonetheless, hope u find the solution to ur problem.

It sometimes happens with lipbalm too...but not much.
It's always happened but recently it's just annoying me more ph34r.gif
I'm pretty sure it's not an illusion or because I'm biting my lips! laugh.gif
It's not swollen in an allergic way....just....gone bigger O__o
My mum commented on it too...

I will post before and after pics later!

wow. a lot of people count when they have their periods. i have never ever done that before. maybe i should start doing it. do you start couting from the last day you spot or do you just start counting from the first day your regular period is over, but you're still spotting?

I didn't really know where to ask this ^___^" so I'll ask it here.

Do any of you girls have lips that...get bigger...if you put lipgloss on? I don't like putting it on because it makes my lips look big. Is there any way to stop that?

o.o'' Maybe you're allergic to lip gloss... My cousin is, so all she can use is vaseline. =D

REF to birth control pills to control periods
>it is true that u can use birth control pills and other hormones (usu prescribed or taken with consultation of your doctor) but there are risks to some people i think with irregular blood pressure ...etc (u'll have to look it up if u are really looking into it.. _ _" sorry)
> but from what i heard this only controls it so that u can "skip" periods to some cases 4 per year. For many this is for convience sake or those with special health problems? the lack of mentstrual flow just lets the lining build up, therefore when u do have ur period it may be heavier and longer OR may even cause complications (as disruption of normal hormones/human cycles).

~*~ correct me if i'm wrong, and sorry if i'm wrong...

so if you think about it, writing it dwn or marking your first date on the calender isnt that hard is it?
>> but then i go swimming so its like i dont like to be caught off guard, but even if you're going to school or work, u'd like to be prepared rite?? mellow.gif

I really need to start marking mine on a calendar... because I dont think I've had my period for like a month or two. But I'm thinking that it's just due to stress. I told myself that if I don't get my period by june, then I'm going to just go see a gynecologist.

Yeah, BC pills really help my stupid irregular period. Always come on the same specific day every month

Just have 4 periods in one year, that one is called Seasonale.
I dont dare to try that, too abnormal just having periods 4 times.

Its not blood pressure, its blood clots, and smoking increases your chances...so esther...either quit smoking or dont go on the pills happy.gif

lining doesnt build up (for example, depo-provera, most girls dont get their period at all), in fact, if you want to, you can take your normal birth control pills and just not take the placebo pills (for your period) all year round...it doesnt matter...they only have the placebo pills just for reassurance (so women know they're not pregnant).

i had the same problem as you..all i had to do was apply lipgloss to a certain area on my lips, not throughout my lips. I just apply LG to the bottom lip and in the middle, like where light would touch your lips.

hahah this probably doesn't make sense to you

^ I think you should see a gyno. I heard that white or clear sticky discharge is healthy. So I think if it looks yellow, you should check with a gyno.
