Fried Ice Cream anyone heard of it?

has anyone heard of fried ice cream? I read about it in another forum. i heard that its ice cream rolled in dough or something and they fry it? i also heard it was good. laugh.gif
they had a green tea fried ice cream too!O_O

OHHH, its like ice cream inside this hot wrap of 튀김가루 I think. something like that.
they have it at Octopus-- its nearr... burbank mall!!!

oh i saw this in a food show and the roll it in breadcrumbs heaps of time to coat it...it started oozing all out when they cutted into it lolz happy.gif

Hm yea I eat it sometimes at restaurants, it has a layer of spongecake inside too. I don't like it that much cause the ice cream melts really fast -__-

AW theyre good..back in my unhealthy days ,i used to eat alot of those..LOL but nowadays im so strict with my eating i haven't had icecreams in yrs...

o I've tried them x] They taste so nice<3 but it was funny cause the resturant gave me a big plate with like a little bit of fried ice cream ;x looked funnyy x]

fried ice cream's good!! you can easily make it yourself you know. just take scoops (for nice round balls, use an ice cream scoop) of ice-cream, roll in breadcrumbs and refreeze. make sure the coated ice cream balls are REALLY frozen and hard, not the semi-frozen kind before you remove them from the freezer for deep-frying. fry to a golden brown colour before sprinkling cinnamon sugar on top. yummm

i've tried cooking this...
it's really nice...
ummm... i wrapped the ice cream with sponge cake then put in the freezer until it's really hard... the deep fry it. that's it... you can also put nuts if you like... i prefer pistachio... chopped it coarsely... then add it with your sponge cake mixture... haha!!! tongue.gif
