i just reformatted my computer and since then, there has been no sound coming out from my com~ i use a desktop com ~~ what should i do ~~ thanks !!~

download everest home edition
open it up, search for your motherboard's name (brand, model number)
download latest bios and chipset drivers
open it up, search for your motherboard's name (brand, model number)

Everest is a useful program that identifies all the pieces of hardware in your computer. Once you identify it, you can proceed to download the latest drivers, etc to get the thing to run better (usually).
