I've had this ipod for about a year and it sometimes it wouldn't turn off. I push and hold the play/pause button but it wont turn off. why is it doing that? why wont it turn off? AHH!!!

That happens to be sometime, I just reset it, by pushing both the select and menu button until the screen turn black and the picture of an apple turn on. It should work after that.

or u can try moving the "lock" button back and forth and then press down on the menu or pause/play button for a while.. thats what i do
