I'm submitting this as my piece for Round 1 of the Soompi Idol, but I'm posting it here first for your hearing pleasures. This is one of my all time favorite Chinese songs. It has so much meaning behind it.

I'm not very good with straight forward translations, but the loose meaning of this song has to do with the hardships of life. The main speaker is telling another to stay strong and to take care even on the hard days without cigarettes.

The version that I'm singing came from a concert that Amei did back in the 90s. Funnily enough, I think I'm most proud of my vocal cut on this song. I tinkered with the equalizer quite a bit, and learn a few tricks to make vocal cuts better.

This song is like...perfect for your voice. Very calming.
It's really nice ^^ And from what you've said about it, it's a very encouraging song.

And yes, the vocal cut sounds good haha. You can tell it's cut because of the drums but besides that, it's good xD
