I have a 30GB Ipod video and I was wondering if sound isn't supposed to come out when watching the videos.

no, sounds should be able to come out. Maybe you should bring it back to the store and ask why? Or maybe some nice soompiers will help you. :] I never have this problem before so I wouldn't know, but I do know that the video have sounds in the ipod too.

Of course it should have sound, was the file already converted to mp4 or did you convert it yourself ? Because that happens to me if theres an error in the conversion thingy process LOL.

It happened to me before, all I had to do was update it. Does the sound work when you play it in iTunes?
