First off before you lock this topic, I am addressing my computer's inability to load certain pages on myspace...THIS IS NOT A TOPIC TROUBLESHOOTING MYSPACE!

For some reason on my computer, I cannot load the "Post New Blog" page on my myspace account. I cannot open it using IE and Firefox. Yet on my grandma's computer, I can access it without any problems. Does this have something to do with my computer's internet settings or something else? Please help.

Like what happens when you try to post a blog? Does it come out to a blank page or does like your internet time out?

It loads partially but the part where the blog functions are is only gray. So yeah I guess it times out for some reason.

Firefox it only loads the "Post Time" thing on it and then times out.

^ I tried to ask Tom and I can't send him a email because he's "Away" ...and Customer Service always sends me an email on how to change my password...which doesn't even apply to my topic

Thanks!

What version of firefox are you using? If you're using 1.5.0.4 (the latest) then I will recommend creating a new firefox profile. Doing this solves a lot of troubleshooting stuff.

Go to Start > Run > type "firefox.exe -profilemanager"

Deleting your current profile will delete all of your saved passwords, extensions, bookmarks, etc.. But you can always get them back.

Kind of drastic, but what else could you do.

^ Hmm I have yet to try that, but I'll be sure to later

Anyway UPDATE. I cannot access these functions either without it just timing out: Search, Groups, Forums, and I cannot access certain other blogs as well.

Could this be a problem with my Firewall (I have McAfee) or is it involving my web browser? Cause my dad never uses Firefox so he doesn't touch my settings, which leads me to believe it is my firewall or Privacy Service.
