LOL I agree too. I just remember everyone making a huge deal about the movie, and when I finally saw it on Showtime or whatever, I just thought, "Is there a point to this movie?" I mean, there are some funny things in there, but....nothing grand like "M*A*S*H" or "Groundhog Day" etc.

I thought it was pretty fun but not a film that everyone would get. My friend said she watched it while high and cried and everything. She said that the movie had a deep meaning to it.

So, I guess in order to truly understand the movie, you'd have to smoke weed.

When I first watched Napoleon Dynamite, I was like where is this movie going?? It was kind of boring and funny at the same time but it kind of changed my point of veiws on geeks.

It was funny in that "this is so stupid, I'll never do this !#@$%" kind of sense.

I enjoyed it, we watched it in class twice, 1st time was "whoa... kip is... O____O" 2nd time I knew what would happen but enjoyed it nevertheless.

I found it okay. he wasn't that bad but the storyline is boring sometimes; i don't think there was even a plot or anything.

Everyone made a HUGE deal out of it and I'd see all of these "Vote 4 Pedro" shirts.. and people dressing up as Napoleon, I didn't get any of the jokes, and then when I *finally* watched the movie I basically was like ----> *raises eyebrow* It wasn't funny at all and seemed pointless to me. But when he starred in "The Benchwarmers" OMG AHAHAHAHAHAAHA that was funny

It seemed like a lot of people I knew thought it was stupid... But I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I wasn't looking for any deep meaning, I just thought the absolute randomness and weirdness of the characters and their actions made it entertaining to watch. I mean, to me, there's nothing funnier than throwing a steak at someone's face. XD
