I don't usually go in this thread but I just want to express my opinion after reading the article of Ivy's matter. I'm feeling sorry for Ivy more than for her ex-bf. Cheating is not a right thing to do, but harassing/damaging one's property/threatening to expose private info (tapes) without the other's agreement are crimes. Whether Ivy was cheating or not, we don't know yet. However, what Mr. Yoo did causes a lot more damage than Ivy's if-true cheating. He shouldn't be the one receiving more sympathy than Ivy should.
Netizens are mostly consisted of young teenageers, and definitely there are more females than males. I found it very ridiculous that more netizens are actually siding with Mr. Yoo. Is it because of the conservative culture where men are still regarded a lot higher than women? Is it because of "blind" jealousy from the anti-fans? Or is it from females with low self-esteem actually accepting that Mr.Yoo's acts are allowed for what he has been "suffering"?

I wanted to say a few things..

I myself is also a 82er..i feel that as long as ur not permanently married u can date anyone u want, but not cheating especially when ur really into someone like long term relationship, seriously cheating on flings like just dating and flirting around isnt that big issue. but she dated Yoo for years so i guess thats wrong to do that if its true. But then again, she dated someone for so long, commitment and being there for long, sometimes ppl cant just let go, its hard to say u want to break up, its like u cant bear but the love isnt there anymore..its hard to explain this kind of thing unless u experienced it..some ppl just continue the long relationship for sake that they are too used to their partners companion.

Moreover as a 82er..its like we are worried about our age T__T in the middle of going to "marriage" life..afraid of stuffs haha..of course its good if u can find someone better along the way~cos that person gonna spend his whole life with u..i wont want to find someone whom maybe hit my child or even threaten to do things to him when he did something real bad!

Ivy doesnt come out because either company doesnt allow or she cant say anything more! if she does, what will media do? Provoke more questions to her and make her pressurized?? then ppl will start saying this and that whether its true or not? Sometimes being silence is the best way..since what is done cant be undone.

Im quite surprised about wheesung..is the guy? we wont know if its 100% true until he himself revealed the name or Ivy revealed the name..Both Ivy and Wheesung..I like both of them.

As for Yoo..In a relationship, he said that "lets not hit girls?" seriously what hes doing is like worse than hitting..its not what a man should really do in relationship, if ur partner cheats on u? Cry..hurt..then say good bye and smile..look at the other side of world..face it..i've been through it, i thought of threatening my guy seriously, and even thought of suiciding(well i did), but then think of another side, i rather not do it ever again..i believe Yoo is too possessive and obsessed compared to really LOVE IVY..did he really love ivy seriously or just want to conquer her heart? love isnt like that, love is forgiving and not hurting the one u love..even though its anger or hard to do that, guys shouldnt do that seriously..so my words to YOO:"BE A MAN, FACE IT, LET IT GO, BE COOL"
What he did is really mean, moreover asking for posting vids etc? come on..if u really need to remove ur tattoo, and if ur really a nice guy u would've post this in future "this is my hard earn money, i use it to remove tattoos of ur name, this prove i am working hard to forget u" Why cant he do that instead? hes being immature, if not he wants fame, he wants attention..sorry to say this but i dont think Yoo is doing right..

If Yoo did the cool way, i think they might have gotten back together..but hes like doing the ugly way..its like 100% NO WAY to get back together anymore..why have to make a break up so ugly? and after this experience, its good way to see at least Ivy didnt marry him, cos she would suffer if they got married..lucky to find out that!

^ What does the scandal with Heechul have to do with anything? That was just a false rumor that both sides denied immediately and none of the FANS actually believed (Heechul fans in Korea are notorious for not believing anything that comes out in the media unless Heechul himself says it... anything that usually comes out on the news as some NEW info are usually things Heechul has already told his fans via his minihompy and fan cafe).

So according to Fantom, Yoo asked if he can BORROW $45,000 to remove the tatoos that he had of Ivy's name which they verified by checking his body? And he told them that he had already erased the supposed video of him and Ivy when he handed over his computer to them so that they can erase any pics he had of Ivy on there? If this is the case, why did they even go to the police and bring about this media firestorm on Ivy?

Just wanted to say that it's NOT about being a "celebrity" but a woman in Korean Society. Aren't women in general held to a much more higher standards than men? This is why people are taking the crazy side instead of hers.

I read on a blog that a famous Korean ballet dancer was fined for posing topless in Korean Vogue with her dancer boyfriend. The company was strict with her but not with her boyfriend. That's Hypocritical.

It's like that for women everywhere, not just Korea. Look at Meg Ryan. She has an extra marital affair with Russell Crowe and her career is practically over. Brad Pitt has an extra marital affair with Angelina Jolie and he gets more famous and turned into a saint, rescuing and adopting children all over the globe

As for the ballet dancers, was the guy exposing his genitals or his butt? How's that hypocritical to fine the person who was actually exposing something? I doubt they would have had a problem with her posing with her boyfriend in a picture had she NOT been topless.

Wheesung was on KBS Park Jun Hyun's Inkigayo Radio Show (october 26th).. He talks about his two ex-girlfriends and both of them are top stars. Then he says that one of the girls cheated on him.

^^ This whole case is about Ivy and her ex boyfriend. Ivy cheated on Yoo with another guy _____ so Yoo broke up with her. Later, Yoo threatened Ivy by saying he has explicit images/video of Ivy. Fantom bought Yoo's notebook which supposedly contained all the explicit images but they found nothing. (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

Ivy made a mistake and so did the Yoo guy. However, Yoo shouldn't have blown this whole thing up like that.

I think we all know by now that she (excuse my language) f*cked up big time with that ex-boyfriend whether it was involving herself with someone like that in the first place or cheating on him. The biggest challenge to all human beings is to admit that their wrong. I'm saying that staying silent is the worst thing Ivy can do now. Everything about her has been exposed. Sometimes you have to fight in order to win. You can't stay silent and passive when it's something as serious as this and a true private matter of ur life, where her reputation as a person and artist is on the line. She can't undo the damage that has already happened, but she can repair it by speaking from her heart of what has happened. I don't believe Ivy is a bad person, so I don't think that she doesn't feel any regret or sorrow over what has happened. It isn't a case of "omg! what's going to happen to me!!" And I think that if she has anything to say, even if she has to admit more shocking news, she'll find that the risk is worth it not only for her career but she'll do it if she has any self-respect at all. She needs to let Korea know that even if this did happen, even if she did cheat and allow someone to be this destructive towards her, that she's not the same person she was back then...she's a changed person. She needs to let people know that the judgment being passed over her at this moment is not an accurate reflection of who she is, but who she once was..someone who made a mistake, but learned and grew from it.

11/05 the rep Jung Kyung Mun says that ivy has stopped all her activites right now but it doesn't mean shes disappearing. he talked with her today and yesterday. He also urged her to stay at home just in case somethin happens.

Does it seem like shes trying to hide? i guess so. we can be thinking many things but right now Fantom is doing one poor, half-assed job of dealing with this.

all of them have yet to decided whether to drop Ivy as their model or not.
because she was a victim of blackmail they are carefully looking over this incident but they have not decided anything yet.

i agree...most if not all celebrityies that have been involved in a scandel (baek jiyoung,lee youngja and those celebrities who are going through divorces now) they have all coem out to tell their side iof the story...who know it may not be the truth, but to actuallt show your face on tv shows you have some credibility.

she said something like
First of all Im sorry im greeting you at a time like this. I have been living with EunHye unnie since Feburary. So I know the truth and more about this incident more than anyone else

But right now Yoo's side is saying something that is distorting the truth and filled with lies. i can't carelessly come out so its very upsetting that we can only just observe everything that is happening.
