I've been thinking about taking Arabic lately. It's not really one of those soon to lose interest things because it got me the same feeling when I wanted to learn Korean (it's my native tongue, but I couldn't speak it so well) and I'm well ahead then I started. But I guess it was easier since I spoke it at home, now I can speak, read, and write Korean efficiently but there's still some improving.
I just wanted to know if anyone had any classes or knowledge about it prior to me signing up for the class at a local community college. I'm aware that it's one of the hardest languages to learn along with Chinese. I'm sure it depends on the teacher and sorts, but anyone's experience would really help me make a move on Arabic or German. Thanks.
Also, it's not really a linguistic major or anything related to my major, but more of an interest in culture and desire to travel there.
I speak French and Korean fluently. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

I'd go with German or Spanish or Greek if I were you, Arabic is soo difficult because they read in the other direction. It would just be eye straining and unintutive for you to learn.

I need to learn Arabic too since it is Al-Quran language. I'm a Muslim. It maybe hard for the first time but soon you will love it. My parents and brother too Arabic classes. So far they have improved. Maybe the way it written is bit different but it is beautiful if you know how to write it properly. It called 'khat' or calligraphy.
I'm not sure the classes at your places since I'm now in Malaysia. Here there are many language centres that provide Arabic classes.

Arabic is read from right to left, but that's not why it's difficult to learn as a (in this case) fourth language. Most letters have at least two different written forms depending on where they are in a sentence, vowels are not written out, and there're a lot of different verb forms. BUT it's something totally different from Korean, French, and English, which makes it more interesting than German, I think. It's also a more unusual choice to study while being more in demand at the same time.
My vote is Arabic. You're just taking a community college class, anyway, not deciding to major in Arabic or Middle Eastern Studies or something. Besides, since when is easier better than more interesting?
Hey, look! Finally a different signature after all these years!

If you can put up with the difficulties of learning Arabic, you'll earn your self the ability to speak the language spoken by most of the countries in the Middle East and N.Africa, and a language skill that is highly sought after by many government agencies, i.e CIA, FBI, Homeland security, etc.

Yup! I think you should take Arabic. It'll probably be helpful. Plus, I dont think that there are a lot of non-arabic people that learn arabic as much as other languages such as spanish, french, etc. It'll be a great skill to have.
