I like homemade also. Although here and there, restaurant
food isn`t all that bad. If I`m with my mom though, we always go out to
eat :T. When my grandmother went back to malaysia for about 2 months,
those days were homemade food-free.

like, you KNOW what you put in it, and most of the time, i don't use msg, but restaurants use it.

thats why I rather eat at a good Thai or Malaysian restaraunt, because my parents dont know how to cook that kind

Homemade is pretty good to me. My mom is a really good cook. It'd be a little more satisfying if she actually taught me how to cook instead of "here, chop the vegetables. Ok thanks, you can leave now. No I don't want you in the kitchen cuz you'll bother me". I think it's her plot to get me and brothers and sisters coming b/c none of us can really cook. But since we're a traditional viet family, it's nice to go out to eat sometime to try other foods like ethnic foods or some good ol' fashioned burgers (not fast food tho, gourmet restaurant stuff )
