playing at the same rate? like sync audio and video? or framerate?
Well anything uploaded in youtube is converted in flash format which is 15fps (I think I am right). So say you want to unload a short clip, most like its 29.971fps. So thats cutting it in half, and since its dual converting dont expect the audio to sync perfectly. An analogy whould be like, to get good hair shampoo then condition. Using 2in1 product is not as good as using 2 separate ones. anyways real encoding first encode the video then we do the audio then sync them together.

WTF... Oh, my lord. HAHA. I did not understand all the tech jargons.
Is there anything I, a simple PC-user, can do to prevent this problem?

Was the video out of sync on your computer to begin with?
Did you have to convert it so youtube can accept the file? Was teh converted file in sync?

No, it was avi originally, and I just uploaded it. Should I change it into another format?

I don't think there's any other way to actually get the video and audio synchronised on youtube....Tricky stuff. I may look around for any info on it.
Today I am one workout stronger than yesterday!
