Listen to the ballad singers not the dance groups, who have better dance songs obviously but no ballads.

My favorites are:

First love by Utada Hikaru [Very sad and its really really good.]

and

Tattoo by Se7en [I think its sad. Its a great song though.]

I highly recommend these songs!!!!
