im pretty sure this has been a very old and constant topic, but i was wondering how do you take screencaps for a movie file playing on windows media player? i remember someone saying to unclick this certain option on windows media player, but ive forgotten what. if anyone can tell me it'd be greatly appreciated, thanks

Don't you mean Media player classic?
I don't think windows media player allow you to make screencaps
Try VLC media player it makes excellent screencaps.

hm. when you make a screenshot on vlc player, where does it go? (sorry if it's a stupid question). i just saw a lil image on the corner of the screen and then it faded.

This will show you how to take screencaps using different programs, including VLC player. It will also answer your question as far as where the screencaps go when you use VLC player. Basically you can set it to save the screencaps to whatever directory you want.
