I'm confusing about networking because of the Alltel (sp. error maybe?) commercial so if someone have a Verizon phone and someone have a T-mobile, they can't call each other???! Sorry, for being stupid, lol!

What is anytime minutes? Also, long time ago when my dad's cellphone was active when I saw the bill it listed all the call that I made with his phone, so what about if someone call you do you have to pay for the minutes you use? So it cost you money if you call someone (including home phone/cellphone) who isn't using the same service provider as you?

Usually your plan would include anytime minutes and unlimited weekend/night minute, maybe even mobile-to-mobile. For example, if your plan has 1500 anytime minutes, unlimited weekend/night minutes, and you have no mobile-to-mobile, whenever you use your cellphone, minutes will be deducted from the anytime minutes unless its past a certain time or on the weekend (those will be taken out of your nights/weekend minutes).

To make it more simple, let's say you only have 1500 minutes on your plan and you pay $19.99/month. Anytime you make a call, minutes will be deducted from the 1500. If you use more minutes than you have , you pay extra on your phone bill.

mobile to mobile means that if the person you are talking to on the cell has the same service provider as you, then the call is completely free and unlimited
mind you, only works if the person you are calling or called you has the same service provider as you...
and no when someone of the same service provider call you and you have mobile to mobile, it doesnt use up your anytime minutes....
to my father... may you rest in peace at last...
although it was too early for you to go... and we will always miss you

So I would use anytime minutes if I'm calling someone that uses a home phone instead of cellphone?
