basically some games, like Castlevania POR, or FFIII worked on the M3 lite, but didn't work on the m3 simply. Of course I know you have to use the raw dump instead of those that run through game manager like on the m3 lite.. but it still didn't work. well it doesn't matter, I just obtained another dump and they all work perfectly now.

and is it hard to use? or do you just drop files in it and then you can run it on the DS?

So... Like ptoor asked, how do you convert the videos to watch on the DS? I'm sure .avi won't work?

256*192 res @ wtvr bitrate you find decent enough on vid/audio.
Stardust, depends on which card you're using. Some require fooling around w/the settings for specific games and some have features that aren't in other cards. (GBA support, blah blah)
Drag and drop doesn't always work haha.

Well, mp3's should work fine on the R4. You don't have to convert to anything else. For videos you have to convert .avi mpeg or whatever to dpg. I'm using the program that was on the CD, dpgenc.

anyway, ive added most of you with mariokart friend codes posted, but im not exactly sure how this works. shouldnt there be a list that shows which friends are online and available to play? it doesnt seem to do that. it appears that who you play is random whether you play friends, worldwide, regional, etc.
hope to get better and take on some of you who im sure are experts (was a little cocky until i played online and got schooled).

Mario kart multiplayer is really fun. get a bunch of friends in a room together, i think thats the way to go.
Hotel Dusk is really good. I'm on chapter 10 right now. the art and style is nice. and holding DS sideways is neat. So far the puzzles aren't very challenging, but the experience is unique.

yes, but you need extra stuff for it
there's the japanese opera browser
and if you're into homebrews, there's DS AIM, but you need a flash cart to use the homebrews on the DS.
