i got my ds from a friend. I'm currently in korea right now, and i'm not exactly sure what kind of card i have. It fits into slot 1, and i've been able to get just about all roms and even some homebrews to work, but i can't dsorganize to work. It needs a patch except i don't know which patch to d/l out of the 30 or so in the website. Any way I can find out??? Cause the only thing written on the card is 4G made in China, and uh.. Magic Key 5 Nano4 or somethin

Ahaha. Cooking Mama 2 was released way back, 2 years ago. Gardening Mama is alright.


Ah! The World Ends With You is one of the best DS games I've ever played. If you're a RPG fan, then this game is a must have. Get it

haha incase u guys didn't know, if u fail a game 3 times in a row (meaning dont play another game), go to the cafe and u can pass it. exceptions are remix 6 and 10 and the the very first game

Omg me too! Except mine was with Mihara..... I was SO close!!!! I kept on going back a few months to go out on dates every weekend.. but still didn't have enough >_> Ughh. I just gave up.. so now I'm on the 2nd season one lol, trying to get this guy.. who's also into art like Mihara <3 and long hair xD I looove Kei's voice though

LOL omg.. i dled starfy last week! i haven't started playing though..but i absolutely love the stars. i even have the starfy pillow...even though i have no idea what it's about. it looks kinda like kirby-style game

All I have to say is, why didnt I see this thread before. My DS has been stashed away in my dresser for a very long time now. I'm going to read up on this R4 card. My little brother just bought this Action Replay thing from Best buy for his ds. I still have no idea what it's for though. :/

A dsi requires an acekard =\ i dont think r4s work on that.

action replay manipulates the game to make it easier to play or funner. mostly its for fun. so for example super mario: unlimited mushrooms or whatnot. or harvest moon: umlimited gold lumber.

my bro just got a DSi yesterday and my dad bought him Starfy. It's similar to kirby: get abilities, cute enemies, minigames. I really like it. Starfy's so cute! There's one minigame where you make dumplings- it's similar to cooking mama *O*

I love my DS ^^ before I bought mine, I hadn't had a handheld for a very long time. but being at the Games Convention last year and playing games on the DS there convinced me of buying one
it's really a luxury to play wherever you want... but I feel a little uncomfortable doing this when I'm out. That's why I play most of the time still at home. Or in the garden, that's nice too ^^

Currently playing Devil Survivor (by Atlus). It's a strategy RPG. The storyline is quite interesting. The premises is people are trapped in a district of Tokyo without electricity. There's more to it than meets the eye - demons are attacking people and to battle it, the main characters uses devices (which looks like a DS) to create contracts with demons and use them for battle.

The battling system isn't all that unique but I like "bidding" for demons and creating new ones. you can copy techniques to create whatever demons you want (I think you can even make a demon use an element that it's weak with). It's worth checking out. I like how fast the battles can be (well if you level up) with plenty times to save.


Unlike Knights in the Nightmare (a cool looking RPG also from Atlus) which takes me forever to finish a single play - heck 30-60mins into it and before I can get to a save point. Anyone playing that game? Does it get quicker? Or should I expect to play for a long time before I can save? It's very difficult (you have to dodge things, switch modes to use certain weapons). You have to be really engaged to play that one

hmmm did anyone have a problem getting gardening mama to work? i downloaded it because i love cooking mama and read here that it was fun but it keeps saying that the save data could not be accessed. =/

i have a m3 ds simply, could that be the reason why?
