i work at costco and they dont have a lot of game selections. even though they're cheaper (slightly), they indeed have a lot of childish games (narnia, over the hedge, cars, etc)

Well that shows what kind of gamer you are since you dismiss all of the "childish" games as being bad. Its also funny how you call DS games childish when your style of typing is childish itself. You aren't at all looking hard enough for the good games. The reason you don't see any "good" games is because most video game retail stores carry the most recent games. Some of the best DS games are now out of print and hard to find. Also, you most likely have no idea what games are good on the DS since you assume they're all childish games. All you seem to be doing in this thread is trying to bring down the DS while glorifying the PSP. Do that elsewhere or you could end up being flamed by other people here.

Top 10 games? Well thats different everybody. Why don't you try looking it up ? I would tell mine but I decided against it. Oh and not all of the DS games are childish. If you actually took the time play or read up on a few such as Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Phoenix Wright, or Trauma Center, you'd know that those aren't childish games at all.

Yeah alot of those gamers who just wanna look "cool" playing games dismiss those "kiddy" looking games because they are self-conscious TO THE POINT that they don't want to be caught dead playing those "cutesy" games. One prime example (although not involving the DS) is Wario Ware Inc. for the Gamecube. One day I invited my friends over and none of them wanted to play it because quote "It looks like a game for a damn 10 year old Jeff". But after seeing me play it they began to play it and found it fun.

The DS brings new, fresher concepts to the kids of today, but that doesn't mean that E games like Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, and Mario Kart are for little kids. I play Nintendogs. Am I a 5 year old kid running around pushing people over randomly because I don't know better? Nope...just a 15 year old guy who has a life.

i guess i beat every world in NSMB. there's not much else to do besides get those big coins and try to unlock all the mushroom houses now, right? or maybe i can look for those world warp cannons...but what's the point when you can already warp anyway?

Well since this game isn't starring Soma Cruz, the soul collecting would not make sense since the Power of Dominance (soul collecting) is unique to him. I'm really intrigued by this character switch thing. It kind of reminds me of Castlevania III when you can have a partner.

it's got good reviews at gamefaqs, but it didnt do well in the graphics and sounds department (which i dont give a darn about)

kawaiichunsa : I got Lost Magic with the ds lite but it wasn't as good. the controls were hard to control and the enemies killed my character before I got to cast my spell! not sure was it due to my bad gaming skills at real time RPG games

The word going around is that new flavors of the DS Lite will be available in the fall of this year. It makes sense considering the Nintendo Wii will be coming out in multiple colors as well.
