I've been trying to widen the genres of music I listen to, but I think there were a lot of songs in the 70's that were like megahits? Can any of you name some of your favorites or some that became famous?

70's thats disco mania...which I support fully lol
ABBA- 'Dancing Queen', 'Mamma Mia'
Gloria Gaynor- 'I will survive'
Bee Gees- 'Jive Talkin', 'Stayin Alive'
Village People(?!?!)- 'YMCA', 'Macho Man'
KC and the Sunshin Band- 'Get Down Tonight'
not Disco
Blondie 'Heart of Glass', 'Atomic', 'One way or another'
Bruce Springsteen- 'Thunder Road'
Bob Marley- 'I Shot the Sheriff'
(eric clapton's version is pretty good too)
Thin Lizzy- 'The Boys are Back in Town', 'Whiskey in the Jar', 'Dancing in the Moonlight'
I'd list more...but it'd prolly just be more disco lmao

WOOHOO!
Go Village People and Bee Gees!! My dad hates them lol but I think they're awesome. Does the song "Strawberry Letter 22" by Brothers Johnson count under 70s?
